No lubrication, high strength! "Duralon" GFRP bushings and bearings.
Maintenance-free without lubricating oil! A resin bushing with lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and insulation properties!
The Rexnode "Duralon" is a bush bearing made of GFRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) with epoxy resin as the base material. It features a self-lubricating liner that incorporates high-strength Teflon fibers and polyester fibers in the sliding part. This allows for a clean design that eliminates the need for a lubrication mechanism, making it a viable alternative to metal bushings. 【Key Points for Choosing This Product】 ■ High strength due to reinforced plastic (static allowable surface pressure: up to approximately 531 MPa) ■ Lightweight due to resin (77% reduction compared to steel, 30% reduction compared to aluminum) ■ No lubrication oil required, preventing contamination ■ Reduced maintenance work due to no lubrication needed ■ Excellent environmental resistance to seawater and industrial chemicals ■ Minimal seizure or welding during abnormal wear due to the resin ■ Electrical insulation performance ■ Various types available in catalog sizes, including straight sleeve bushings, flange bushings, and thrust washers ■ Custom design and additional processing possible with a unique manufacturing method (consultation required) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document.
