Ceramic bearings (alternatives to Centura and Endura)
We offer alternative ceramic bearings for Centura and Endura robots manufactured by Applied Materials. This product is one that we have developed as an alternative.
Improvements to processes that have been difficult until now have been realized through the PIM method! We will introduce some case studies.
We would like to introduce a case study of PIM utilization by Atect Co., Ltd. Improvements in processes that were previously difficult have now become possible through the PIM method. With PIM technology, it has become feasible to mold two separate parts, combine them before sintering, and achieve integration through simultaneous sintering. We have established a mass production technology for low-cost, high-quality parts, enabling us to respond to orders that have doubled compared to the previous year. SUS440C stainless steel bearings that are resistant to rust, corrosion, and high temperatures. Each series is available in standard stock.

Features 1. By using two types of pure titanium with excellent corrosion resistance for the inner and outer rings, it can be used in harsher corrosive environments than SUS304 stainless steel bearings. 2. It is safe for the human body, as it does not cause allergic reactions, making it applicable for artificial joints and other medical uses. 3. It is a non-magnetic bearing due to the combination of pure titanium and ceramic balls. Additionally, the combination with ceramic balls provides insulation properties. 4. It has minimal reduction in toughness at low temperatures, allowing for use in low-temperature environments. 5. With a specific gravity of 4.5, it is lower than other materials (SUJ2: specific gravity 7.8), contributing to weight reduction.
