Black dye treatment
A method for generating a black film of Fe3O4 on the surface! Suitable for machine tools and the like.
The "black dyeing treatment," also known as "black iron oxide treatment" or "alkaline coloring treatment," involves immersing steel parts in a water solution primarily composed of concentrated caustic soda (NaOH) and boiling it (at 140-150°C) to generate a black Fe3O4 film on the surface. The Fe3O4 film is beautifully black and has better corrosion resistance the thicker it is, but it is generally a porous film about 1-2μ thick. It is used in many parts such as tools for machine tools, camera components, and gun muzzles. **Features of our black dyeing treatment:** - Customers are satisfied with the very beautiful black coloring, which enhances product value. - The degree of coloring varies depending on the material type and heat treatment condition. - Our company specializes in heat treatment, allowing us to understand the material type and heat treatment condition, and select the appropriate treatment method suitable for the material properties. - Once an order is placed, most customers become fixed customers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
