A sandwich structure wrapped in steel that simultaneously achieves outstanding stability and hardness (Hv1500–1900) with long lifespan (more than three times that of sintered carbide) and high toughness.

The three-layer structure of carbide and steel makes it easier to integrate thin cutter blades into machinery. The carbide part uses our developed high hardness and high toughness nano-binder carbide, achieving a sharp edge. The steel part is made from SUS420J2, which provides sufficient corrosion resistance and high strength, heat-treated to HRC48. It can be finished to a thickness of 0.2t, reducing the risk of breakage and chipping. Please consult us regarding the shape of the cutting tool.
