The FireTrac 3460bT is an AS5643 interface card adopted for the F-35 project.
There is a growing demand for more streamlined hardware systems for processing AS5643 data streams used for defense purposes. In particular, advanced error insertion capabilities, which cannot be achieved with commercial link layer implementations, are required for simulation purposes. FireTrac is designed to natively support AS5643 (not just as an add-on protocol). In addition to standard IEEE1394 functionality, FireTrac is designed to provide hardware-level support for SAE AS5643, specifically alleviating the burden on the host processor for tasks such as packet encapsulation, data extraction, and receive/transmit STOF offsets. Importantly, FireTrac is highly accurate as it fully processes the transmission timing of AS5643 in hardware. Support for this protocol is built into the hardware, rather than relying solely on a software layer as is commonly provided by other solutions that depend on COTS OHCI chipsets. ■ Technical documentation in Japanese for AS5643 is available. XMC providing 2-channel 10GBase-T Ethernet and 2-channel SFP+ 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
TXMC897 is a switched mezzanine card (XMC) compatible module that provides 2-channel 100Base-TX / 1000Base-T / 2.5GBase-T / 5GBase-T / 10GBase-T Ethernet and 2-channel extended small form-factor pluggable (SFP+) 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The XMC connector P15 provides access to the Intel X710-TM4/AT2 quad/dual-port 10GbE controller via an x8/x4 PCIe link. The two Ethernet interfaces support transmission speeds of 100, 1000 Mbit/s, and 2.5, 5, 10 Gbit/s, and the two SFP+ cages accept various SFP and SFP+ transceiver modules. These two SFP+ hosts are connected to the SFI interface of the Ethernet controller.
The XMC series is a sync/resolver/LVDT/RVDT input card with XMC specifications. It is equipped with 8 channels of input.
The XMC series is an 8-channel synchro/resolver/LVDT/RVDT input card manufactured in an AS9100D certified facility and compliant with the VITA 42.3 PCIe for XMC specification. The eight input channels can be configured as single-speed synchro/resolver/LVDT/RVDT inputs. The four-channel multi-speed synchro/resolver functionality can be achieved using adjacent input pairs with multi-speed ratios ranging from 2 to 255. Our converters provide excellent tracking regardless of speed or acceleration. Each channel can accept a wide range of reference frequencies for either synchro or resolver inputs. Onboard synthesized references are implemented per channel, allowing for multiple simultaneous reference frequencies and automatic phase correction per channel, resulting in outstanding tracking characteristics. The data output per channel includes angle and speed, as well as diagnostic fault outputs (reference loss, signal loss, accuracy error, angle step error).
