The Facing Center was developed in response to the demand for significant reductions in production time by enabling face milling operations equivalent to vertical lathes using a horizontal boring mill. The rigidity and precision of the integrated faceplate are incomparable to conventional attachment-type faceplates, eliminating the need for attachment and allowing processing with the boring spindle. It can be considered an ideal machine that enables complex machining of multiple surfaces in a single setup using a rotary table. However, developing an integrated faceplate with high rigidity, high precision, and high rotation that can withstand years of use was not easy. After years of trial and error, and decades of continuous improvement, we have arrived at this completed form. Since its development, the FB series has been widely used by customers in various industries around the world, including heavy electric, shipbuilding, construction machinery, oil-related companies, and pump and valve manufacturers.
