I have created a geomagnetic cancellation coil. In the Kanto region, the geomagnetic field runs at an angle of almost 45 degrees from the sky to the ground. By generating a magnetic flux density of about 0.4 Gauss (0.04 mT) in each of the three pairs of coils for the X, Y, and Z axes, we can create a nearly magnetic-free space in the central area. We have manufactured a Helmholtz coil magnetic field generator that can vary the coil spacing from 200 mm ± 20 mm. After consulting with the customer about the generated magnetic flux density and usage, we designed, manufactured, and delivered the fixtures, jigs, and systems. Modifications can be made to the size, magnetic flux density, diameter of the opposing magnetic pole surfaces, and the coil winding specifications (wire diameter and number of turns).
