Engineering Management: Destination Control of Conveyor Lines Using RFID

No controller needed for destination judgment! Autonomous judgment and processing by the microcontroller inside the reader/writer.

This is an introduction to "Destination Control of Conveyor Lines Using RFID" in engineering management. RF tags are attached to the sides of resin containers. The RF tags are pre-encoded with the container's "destination information." The RF tags of the containers flowing on the conveyor transport line are read by an RFID antenna. The destination information (5 bits) from the read RFID tag data is directly notified to the PLC controlling the transport line via DO. The PLC uses the received destination information to switch and control the direction of the conveyor. Since the microcontroller in the RFID reader/writer autonomously makes judgments and processes information, a controller for destination determination is not required. This device is installed at each branching point to determine the destination. The first half will provide a general overview of the types of foaming agents used in foaming molding and the different types of foaming molding. The second half will explain micro-injection foaming molding (MuCell) using supercritical fluids and core-back foaming, introducing methods for lightweighting products and practical examples, focusing on automotive applications.
