The Multi-1/USB supports communication at a maximum speed of 921.6Kbps and is equipped with an overrun error prevention feature using a 256-byte FIFO. By achieving productization with the minimum number of components, it has reduced costs while simultaneously improving reliability. It is widely compatible with almost all Windows and Linux operating systems. You can choose from two types: RS232 and RS422/RS485 (COMBO). It is ideally designed for environments such as POS, factory automation (FA), and building automation. The Multi-1/USB can supply power from +5V and +12V to external devices through pin 9, enabling bus-powered operation without the need for external power input for barcode readers and receipt printers. It has built-in surge protection of 15,000V, preventing surge currents and port damage, thus providing safer communication. The COMBO type is equipped with hardware for auto-toggling functionality, preventing simultaneous transmission of multiple data. It helps avoid electrical collisions in environments with multiple connected devices, preventing transfer errors and unstable connection states.
