**Overview** The LTM2882 uses signal isolation functionality through inductive elements to break the logic level loop, significantly expanding the common-mode voltage range and achieving an excellent common-mode rejection ratio of over 30kV/μs. It generates a power supply that drives RS232 levels with a low EMI DC-DC converter and provides an additional isolated 5V power output to supply power to any external support components. The LTM2882 features 2,500VRMS galvanic isolation, an auxiliary power supply, and two fully compliant RS232 transmitters and receivers, eliminating the need for external components and providing a complete and compact μModule solution for isolated serial data communication.
