It features a straight blade and a large K-Value, allowing for high feed rates, achieving high-efficiency processing!
- The straight blade and large K-Value allow for high feed rates, achieving high-efficiency machining. - The large chip pocket provides excellent chip evacuation. - The chamfering at the corners reduces burrs on through holes. - The tool shape is easy to re-sharpen. - A versatile drill that works with various materials. - Outstanding cost performance. - There is also a type with oil holes that effectively guide coolant to the groove side (DRSOH). *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
Even after processing 1850 holes, it remains sustainable! We will introduce examples that achieve high precision and long lifespan.
We will introduce a case where the roll tap pilot hole processing was switched from high-speed steel drills to the "Strike Drill EZT type," achieving high precision and long lifespan. The customer's issues were that the current high-speed steel drills had a short lifespan, low efficiency in both rotation speed and feed rate, and difficulties in managing the pilot holes. To address this, we improved the process using the "Strike Drill EZT type" for roll tap pilot holes. There were no issues confirmed with the pilot hole gauge, and high-precision processing was achieved. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Workpiece: Parts ■ Material: Stainless Steel (SUS304) ■ Issues - Short lifespan - Low efficiency in both rotation speed and feed rate - Difficulties in managing pilot holes *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
Little fluctuation during engagement, resulting in a good machined surface! A case where burrs were minimized, allowing for one-pass machining.
We would like to introduce a case where our "Tairado Drill" enabled one-shot processing with reduced burrs during hole drilling on a cylindrical surface made of SUS304. The customer's challenge was to perform hole drilling on a cylindrical surface, while experiencing burrs at both the entry and exit points, which placed a burden on subsequent processes. Our product, being a flat drill, allows for hole drilling on cylindrical surfaces, resulting in minimal runout during engagement and achieving a good machining surface. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Workpiece: Shaft component ■ Material: Stainless steel (SUS304) ■ Challenges - Desire to perform hole drilling on a cylindrical surface - Burrs occurring at both entry and exit points, causing a burden on subsequent processes *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
Achieving ultra-deep hole machining with an L/D ratio of 30 to 50 using external lubrication!
Aren't you under the impression that coolant-through equipment is essential for hole machining with an L/D ratio of 30 or more? The new cross-grooved drill draws coolant into the hole's interior by incorporating a main groove and a reverse twist groove on the drill's outer circumference when the drill is rotated. Inside the hole, the coolant is retained in the grooves on the outer circumference, improving "cooling" and "lubrication," resulting in excellent cutting performance and significantly enhancing the surface roughness of the hole's inner surface. Additionally, the margin-less design equalizes the holding power and suppresses the occurrence of hole bending.
Adopting aluminum chromium nitride coating! Improved heat resistance, wear resistance, and anti-welding properties!
- The aluminum-chromium nitride coating prevents chip welding, excels in heat resistance and wear resistance, and maintains sharpness. - The adoption of a spiral shape sharpens the cutting angle significantly compared to straight grooves, greatly improving cutting performance. - The tip uses the same S-shaped thinning design as conventional products for excellent sharpness. - The shank is hexagonal, allowing for use with cordless drills. - It offers high durability performance even against difficult-to-cut materials like stainless steel (compared to our conventional products).
It's not just bamboo!
Of course, bamboo, wood, PVC, leather, acrylic, and hard rubber can all be neatly drilled. When used with an impact driver, it is less likely to be impacted, allowing for smooth drilling. It can be used by a wide range of users from DIY enthusiasts to professionals. From November 22, 2024, sizes 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, and 20mm will be added, expanding the lineup to 28 sizes.
Quickly attach, drill a pilot hole, quickly detach, and then tighten the screw.
Industry first! It is possible to attach a pilot drill while the step drill bit is still on the power tool. With the easy attachment and detachment of the pilot drill for the step drill bit, drilling pilot holes and driving screws can be done smoothly.
Recommended for drilling holes in two types of metal wires.
Drilling holes in two types of metal wires can be done with step drills, hole saws, or punchers, but the raceway drill was created to make the task easier. By incorporating stepped shapes of 8mm and 10mm during the transition from the 6mm tip to the maximum 12mm, cutting performance is improved. It allows for drilling 6mm and 12mm holes in a single operation, and it is also possible to deburr the backside of the 6mm through hole.
