Demonstration experiments for solving social issues.

Demonstration experiments for solving social issues.

Procedure for Demonstration Experiments to Solve Social Issues 1. Preparation for Social Experiments and Demonstration Experiments Demonstration Field Target Participants - What do you want to know? - What do you want to demonstrate in the experiment? - Who do you want to conduct the demonstration experiment with, and where? 2. Implementation of the Demonstration Experiment To potential users in real situations Ensuring safety Ensuring reliability In order to solve social issues, if you have multiple different demonstration experiments for the target participants, you can compare and evaluate more accurately which prototypes are better or worse in certain aspects and summarize the feedback. 3. Recording the Results of the Demonstration Experiment Feedback Analysis Recording results is extremely important. While recording, actively observe how the participants use or misuse what has been provided. Do not immediately correct what the demonstration experiment participants are doing. 4. Inferring Insights Utilization of Result Data Improve the prototype through insights and apply it to the target customer segment. The purpose of the demonstration experiment is to further understand the needs of the target customer segment and enhance empathy in order to solve social issues.

Super hydrophilic anti-fouling coat "KPP Series": Oil stain removal experiment

A coating agent that provides anti-fouling and easy cleaning properties. We conducted an oil stain removal experiment comparing it with commercially available hydrophilic coatings.

The "KPP Series" is a super-hydrophilic anti-fouling coating that achieves membrane strength and durability that conventional hydrophilic films could not realize, by cross-linking through UV curing. 【Comparison Experiment with "Commercial Hydrophilic Coatings"】 ■ Coated plastic plates with the "KPP Series" and a "hydrophilic coating agent." ■ Dropped a liquid mixture of oleic acid and carbon black (oil stain) onto each. ■ Dropped water onto the oil stains. 【Experimental Results】 In the case of the commercial coating agent, the oil stain remained attached even after water was dropped, while on the coated plate of the "KPP Series," the oil stain formed beads and floated up, allowing the water to wash it away. Thus, by applying the "KPP Series," it is possible to enhance anti-fouling properties. 【Other Features of the "KPP Series"】 ■ Low volatile components, environmentally friendly ■ Good scratch resistance ■ Good chemical resistance ■ Good detergent resistance *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us. ◇ Koshin Chemical offers contract development and processing of products related to dispersion know-how and various dispersing machines. Please feel free to contact us.

[Original Technology] Super Micro Sieve Strength Test

The important factor in screening is the strength of the sieve; damage to the sieve has a significant impact on the product, so quality is verified through rigorous testing.

■ The photo in the center shows the dent created when the tip of a flathead screwdriver was dropped from 7 cm above the screen. The "Super Micro Sieve" is a sieve that withstands even formidable damage. ■ The photo on the right shows the condition of a hole that was damaged during use in a typical sieve. "Coarse particles mix into the product from the damaged area." ■ The aspect ratio serves as a guideline for evaluating the technical level of sieves. 1. Our company: Plate thickness (50) ÷ Hole diameter (5) = Aspect ratio 10, high strength. 2. Competitor: Plate thickness (10) ÷ Hole diameter (5) = Aspect ratio 2, thin, risk of damage. Challenge ■ Currently developing Super Micro Sieves with even smaller hole diameters of Φ1 and Φ3. ■ While we anticipate technical challenges, innovative ideas often arise from difficult problems.

[Original Technology] Sieve Reliability Test Drop Experiment

What is a high-reliability sieve "Super Micro Sieve"? Quality verification through rigorous testing.

■ Since the damage to the sieve has a significant impact on product reliability, we verify quality through rigorous testing. ■ Verification Item 1: Hole diameter accuracy - Is there any dent caused by small impacts? ■ Verification Item 2: Opening ratio - Is there any enlargement of holes due to small impacts? ■ Verification Item 3: Sieve strength - Does the sieve break under small impacts? Special Note ■ The images in the photos were also presented at the "Powder Industry Exhibition." The sieve strength tests can also be viewed in a [video].

Water absorption properties Water absorption comparison experiment (rigid urethane/glass wool)

Basic knowledge of rigid polyurethane! Fiber-based insulation materials (glass wool) have high vapor permeability and moisture retention!

At Tada Plastic Industry, we conducted a comparative experiment on the water absorption properties of rigid urethane and glass wool. Fiber-based insulation materials (glass wool) have high vapor permeability and moisture retention, and they absorb water and sink when placed in water. The intrusion of water into insulation materials can lead to a significant decrease in insulation performance, as well as the growth of mold and mites, and issues arise due to the weight of the moisture causing them to fall. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Liquid IC tag reading experiment

We attached liquid IC tags to containers filled with various liquids and conducted reading experiments.

UHF band RFID is greatly affected by liquids and metals. Our company has quickly addressed these challenges and received positive feedback. This time, we focused on liquid tags and conducted reading experiments with various liquids and containers. 1. Plastic bottle filled with water 0:30~ 2. Olive oil in a glass bottle 0:55~ 3. Pasta sauce in a glass bottle 1:15~ 4. Coffee in a steel can 1:37~ Even if the contents are liquid, please choose metal-compatible IC tags if the container is metal. Our metal-compatible IC tags are also very well received.

[EIB (Micro-Nano Bubble) Implementation Results] Lake Biwa Purification Experiment

The thickness of the sludge at the bottom of the closed water tank decreased by 8 cm in 130 days! We will introduce a case of implementing EIB in Lake Biwa.

Lake Biwa, located in Shiga Prefecture, is the largest lake in Japan in terms of area and water storage capacity. However, organic matter such as algae and bacteria settles at the bottom of the lake, leading to the formation of sludge, with approximately 2 millimeters accumulating annually in the southern lake. To address this, purification was implemented through the activation of indigenous microorganisms using 'EIB (Micro-Nano Bubbles).' As a result, the thickness of the sludge at the bottom of the closed water tank decreased by 8 cm over 130 days, and it was found that simply circulating lake water containing ultra-fine bubbles could activate microorganisms present in nature and decompose and eliminate the sludge. 【Verification Experiment】 ■ Title: Lake Biwa Purification Experiment ■ Duration: March 2013 – 160 days of operation ■ Location: Yanagisaki, Lake Biwa (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture) ■ Information: Organic matter such as algae and bacteria settles at the bottom of the lake, leading to sludge formation. ■ Purification Method: Purification through the activation of indigenous microorganisms using EIB. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Tomato spoilage prevention experiment

Place tomatoes in a sealed space and expose them to chlorine dioxide gas for 10 minutes every 12 hours for comparison!

We would like to introduce the tomato decay prevention experiment conducted by Daiichi Seidenki Co., Ltd. Tomatoes were placed in a sealed space at room temperature of 26-27°C and a temperature of 68-70°F, and were exposed to chlorine dioxide gas for 10 minutes every 12 hours for comparison. After 84 hours of gas exposure, mold approximately 1mm in diameter appeared in 5 or 6 locations, while in the absence of exposure, the entire tomato decayed. [Test Scene] - Tomatoes were placed in a sealed space and exposed to chlorine dioxide gas for 10 minutes every 12 hours for comparison. - Room temperature: 26-27°C - Temperature: 68-70°F *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
