Hishi extract: Effects on frequent urination

Introducing the effects of Hishi extract on frequent urination from three perspectives.

We would like to introduce the effects of "Hishi extract" on frequent urination. In the Edo period book "Honchō Shokkan," there is a mention in the section on Hishi stating that it "stops excessive urination (frequent urination due to diabetes, etc.)." The Hishi extract, made from this Hishi, is also expected to have effects on frequent urination. Therefore, we confirmed the effects of Hishi extract on frequent urination through various tests. As a result, it was suggested that Hishi extract has effects on frequent urination through three actions: inhibition of 5α-reductase activity, inhibition of α-glucosidase activity, and antioxidant effects. [Effects on Frequent Urination] ■ Inhibition of prostate enlargement ■ Inhibition of blood sugar level increase ■ Antioxidant effects *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Hishi extract: Effects on glycation stress

Effects against glycation stress! Introducing the three actions of "Hishi extract" related to anti-glycation.

■Inhibition of AGEs Generation Among 791 types of plant extracts, it has been found that there is a high activity to inhibit the formation of glycation proteins (AGEs), which are the cause of glycation stress. ■Decomposition of Generated AGEs Due to its activity to cleave the characteristic α-dicarbonyl bond of AGEs, it may have the potential to decompose the generated AGEs. ■Suppression of Blood Sugar Levels By inhibiting the activity of α-glucosidase, which is involved in sugar absorption, it has the effect of suppressing the rise in blood sugar levels, potentially preventing hyperglycemic conditions that promote glycation stress. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
