[Design Development Outsourcing and ODM Case] Fan for EF Wear
A case developed with our unique mechanism that allows for the concentration of airflow on the chest and back.
We would like to introduce a case of developing and manufacturing fans for EF wear. Our customer expressed the desire to make the fan thinner, as the conventional model had a thick fan that created significant unevenness with the clothing, causing the fan to hit the operator. They wanted to improve comfort. In response to this request, we adopted a brushless motor to achieve a flat fan design that is thinner. Additionally, we reviewed the method and shape of the propeller's fixation and changed the installation location of the circuit board to reduce the unevenness. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Customer's Issues and Requests - The conventional model had an airflow of 4m³/min, but they wanted to increase it to 6m³/min. - The conventional model was difficult to clean, and they wanted to enhance the cleanability of the propeller. ■ Our Proposal and Services - Changed the output voltage from 12V to 24V to increase the motor speed and achieve an airflow of 6m³/min. - Implemented a cover removal mechanism that allows for tool-free removal. - Designed and installed an interlock to prevent operation when the cover is removed. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
