I tried making a shape-memory printed model and deforming it!

[Mitarepo] 3D Printing x Shape Memory! I actually tried to see if it can be freely deformed and retained!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. The theme of Vol. 23 is "I made a shape memory print model and tried to deform it!" This time, we challenged ourselves to actually create using a shape memory filament that deforms at 55°C. We also heated the model in hot water to see if it could be freely deformed. "Isn't it difficult to create with shape memory materials?" "Does it really deform and solidify?" We will explain the actual printing process using shape memory materials along with images of the deformed print models. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I thoroughly tested conductive materials that can be used with FDM!

We thoroughly tested conductive filaments that can be used with conductive grade 3D printers using FDM!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver helpful information each time. The theme of Vol. 25 is "Thoroughly testing conductive filaments that can be used with FDM!" This time, we measured how much electricity the newly acquired conductive filament for FDM actually conducts. In the materials, we used a filament that has the property of conducting electricity by incorporating carbon nanotubes into its composition to create test pieces of different thicknesses (2mm, 5mm, 10mm). We investigate the volume resistivity and surface resistivity that represent the electrical resistance of the material. "How much can it actually prevent static electricity?" "Does it really conduct electricity?" We present the results of actual measurements using a volume and surface resistivity measuring instrument, along with the characteristics of the conductive filament! *You can download the materials from the button below.

The soft filament that can be used with the Marsgo thermal melting 3D printer is amazing.

With the Marsgo thermal melting 3D printer, you can create models equivalent to styrene rubber! Here’s an explanation of the amazing qualities of soft filaments.

Marsgo is a document that picks up the functions and features of various products and introduces the "amazing" aspects of them. This time, we will introduce "soft filament" for thermoplastic 3D printers, which can be bent and stretched like rubber and has elasticity. The most common materials used in thermoplastic 3D printers are probably "hard resins" like PLA and ABS. However, various types of filaments are emerging daily, allowing you to choose the most suitable one for your application. Our company also handles filaments with diverse characteristics, and this time we will introduce "soft filament" from that selection! The soft filament we are introducing this time has properties equivalent to styrene rubber, with a rebound elasticity of 56%, an elongation rate of 680%, and a Shore hardness of A60. With a "rubber-like" quality that has never been seen before, it can expand the possibilities for printed model applications. This is a document that we highly recommend for FDM users who want to try creating soft models…! *You can download the document from the button below.

"JIZAI" polypropylene material for FDM 3D printers.

Difficult-to-bend polypropylene material!

"JIZAI" is a polypropylene material that can be used with Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers. It significantly reduces warping of printed objects caused by thermal changes. We offer both filament and pellet types. [Features] ■ Reduces the unique shrinkage of polypropylene PP is known for its weak adhesion and tendency to warp due to thermal shrinkage, but we have greatly improved this significant issue, allowing for beautiful prints with minimal distortion. ■ Strength, chemical resistance, and insulation equivalent to general-purpose PP materials It has chemical resistance and insulation comparable to conventional general-purpose polypropylene materials, making it safe to use even in environments exposed to chemicals or where strength is required. ■ Supports high-speed printing It can accommodate high-speed printing of up to 500 mm/s. ■ Easy to post-process It can be painted and colored, making it easy to post-process. *For more details, please request a catalog or view the PDF data from the download button below.

HP filament (aroma type)

3D printer filament using FDM technology that incorporates fragrance components and enhances durability by gradually releasing those components.

HP Filament (Aroma Type) is a filament for FDM 3D printers. Generally, fragrances tend to be volatile, making it difficult to achieve long-lasting effects. This product maintains its effectiveness by gradually releasing the fragrance from within to the surface. Additionally, after being shaped by a 3D printer, it forms an extremely thin film on the surface, preventing stickiness. Any household or commercial products that aim to sustain fragrance can now be manufactured using a 3D printer. *For inquiries about creating original scents, please contact us separately.

HP Filament (UV Reaction Type)

Strong emission is possible even with excitation light of 380 to 400 nm! A special filament that reacts to ultraviolet light and emits light.

The "HP Filament (UV Reactive Type)" is a filament for FDM 3D printers that emits light when exposed to ultraviolet light (such as black lights). Normally, the printed object has a specific color tone, but when exposed to ultraviolet light (such as black lights), the special resin inside reacts and emits light. Emission is possible in three colors: "red," "blue," and "green." It has a complex structure of organic molecules that efficiently absorbs light energy and utilizes the energy of rare earth ions, which are the center of light emission, without waste. 【Features】 ■ Filament for FDM 3D printers ■ Efficiently absorbs light energy and emits strong light ■ Can be embedded in products and verified for counterfeiting by exposing to ultraviolet light ■ Enhances design appeal in dark environments ■ Allows confirmation of the product's presence when used in dark environments ■ Emission is possible in three colors: "red," "blue," and "green" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
