The external heat rotary kiln does not allow direct contact between the raw materials and the heating gas, resulting in minimal burning unevenness and dust generation, eliminating the need for dust collection equipment. There are two types: multi-tube and single-tube. The multi-tube type distributes the raw materials and has a thin layer height, allowing heat to be transferred more uniformly, and due to the larger ratio of heat transfer area to raw material volume, the thermal efficiency is significantly improved. It can be widely used for oxidation reactions, reduction reactions, decomposition, catalyst generation, regeneration, as well as roasting, drying, etc., in various powder and granular materials in active and inert gas atmospheres.
