[US-E Case Study] Identification Management of Metal Jigs
Withstand high temperatures, cleaning processes, and shocks from loading and moving, while simultaneously improving the accuracy of traceability, work efficiency, and tool management!
This is a case study of using "US-E" for the identification management of metal jigs in the carburizing process of automotive parts. Previously, the operation involved manually entering jig numbers and lot numbers on a tablet for recording, which led to issues such as human errors like input mistakes and omissions, as well as the input burden on workers. We transitioned to a scanning operation using two-dimensional codes, eliminating manual input. Labels can be permanently fixed to the jigs, allowing for repeated use, significantly improving the reliability of lot management in the carburizing process. 【Case Overview】 ■ Installation location: Metal jigs used in the carburizing process ■ Product: US-E (heat-resistant up to 1,000°C) ■ Challenges - Human errors such as input mistakes and omissions - Input burden on workers - Tracking accuracy was unstable depending on the situation *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
