Our company can perform shape measurement without cutting using a 3D microscope and other equipment. In the measurement of lens component waviness, we can measure the height of burrs, which are extremely small parts, from a wide area, and check for the presence of burrs and whether their height falls within the allowable tolerance. There is a risk of fracture in situations where the threads of the bolt are damaged and cannot be tightened sufficiently. This document introduces a case where shape measurement was performed on the threads, comparing the intact parts, the damaged parts, and the JIS standard values. In the damaged area, the threads were deformed as if they had been crushed, and compared to the intact parts, the amount of deformation was 0.3573mm.
