Since 2020, we have received a total of four requests for the removal of existing items and the installation of new ones from the Osaka Prefectural Fire Academy. Our school is an institution that trains fire personnel who are employed by various fire departments (bureaus) within Osaka Prefecture. Students store their field coats, which they use during daily training, in dedicated lockers. However, due to the sweat and water droplets from training, the lockers were severely corroded, and we were considering replacing them when we found the website of Ninhara Works and reached out to them. We conducted a comparative estimate with other companies, but due to the lower price, we decided to proceed with their services.

We sometimes receive requests for custom-made items, such as "I want to reflect photos or illustrations on the locker doors. I would like the colors to be different for each door." While our company can relatively easily accommodate requests regarding size and color, we have struggled to fulfill requests to reflect photos or images because it has required AI data (Illustrator data).
This time, I will introduce the reasons for using various thicknesses of sheet metal to create lockers and the purpose of standardizing the plate thickness for making a single locker.
At Jinbara Works, we generally use a sheet metal thickness of 0.8 mm when creating valuable item lockers. However, for map cases, we use 1.0 mm, and for sports lockers, we use 1.6 mm, adjusting the thickness based on the product being made. While using thicker sheets can increase strength, using excessively thick sheets can make the product heavier and less user-friendly. Additionally, the price of materials varies with thickness, which can also increase the cost of the products. Therefore, at Jinbara Works, when we receive an order from a customer, we inquire about the size and weight of the items to be stored, as well as the usage conditions, such as whether people will be sitting on it. This allows us to select the appropriate sheet thickness to create a "durable" locker that meets the intended use. In the past, for a single locker, we have used various sheet metals besides the 0.8 mm, including 0.6 mm for reinforcements, 0.7 mm for inner boxes, and 3.2 mm for cams, among others, even for standard products.

We received a request from the design department of a major food manufacturer in Osaka City.
The design medium requires a large size. It was custom-ordered for storage purposes. This is a five-drawer wide drawer with an all-lock type used in the office. We visited an office building in Umeda, Osaka, for delivery with our own team members. It is a user-friendly large drawer with a standard structure that allows for dividers to be added both vertically and horizontally.
The representative methods of joining in sheet metal processing at our company include welding, screw fastening, and riveting.
There are various methods to join steel plates. What applications and purposes will they be used for? The joining methods that we can process include welding, fastening with screws, and riveting. (There is also joining using two-component adhesives, but this is used only occasionally.) Each method has its advantages and disadvantages, but our strength lies in designing the optimal combination of each method.
In the case of thin steel plates, which are the main material for sheet metal processing, the types used vary due to the characteristics of the blanking (cutting) processing machines.
Steel that has been cut to optimal dimensions for immediate processing is referred to as cut plates (sketch material). Steel of standard dimensions is called standard size (raw plate). In what situations is it better to procure one over the other?

We have received a request from the swimming school "Gabo Swimming School" located in Daito City, Osaka Prefecture.
This will be a locker for storing changing clothes and other items. Since it will be used in the changing room, you specified a bright and clean painting finish. Following the renovation, we received an order for custom-made lockers. After visiting the site, we created the design and provided color samples to manufacture the custom lockers. We also handled the delivery and the collection and disposal of the existing items as a complete service. I believe this was a great learning opportunity for the employees as well.

We received a request from Kintetsu Liners, and they ordered sports lockers in conjunction with the renovation of the clubhouse.
To ensure that professional athletes with larger bodies can use it comfortably, we designed it to be larger and more spacious than standard products. The under-seat drawer storage features slide rails with a soft-closing mechanism, making it a product that also considers safety.
This is the original product "Line Square," featuring a unique design that is favored by people who are particular about their space.
On this occasion, with the establishment of a new hotel in local Higashi-Osaka, we have been selected to provide lockers for the changing room. Two units in green for men and two units in red for women have been chosen, and we were also invited to the preview event.
We designed and manufactured a custom-made columbarium for the temple and delivered it.
This is a work that achieves a balance between a robust body made of zinc-coated steel plates for the locker and ease of use by utilizing aluminum materials for the interior of the locker. We designed four types of custom bodies to fit the columbarium, arranged 30 units neatly, and finally installed panels to cover gaps, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing piece. The installation was in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Through repeated meetings with the client and checking the site conditions before the columbarium construction, we were able to smoothly complete the delivery route and wiring. We also ensured earthquake resistance with anchor fixing. By painting everything in a glossy gold color, we were able to create a luxurious piece.
