The locker room has been renovated as part of the 100th anniversary project of the rugby club.
As part of the 100th anniversary project in 2024, we carried out a renovation of the clubroom lockers. Since last year, we have been obtaining estimates and conducting on-site surveys for the locker renovation project, and through a series of discussions, we initially considered replacing the lockers and benches with conventional types (the same as the current ones). However, upon investigating the current state of locker rooms in sports facilities both domestically and internationally, we found that the convenience of "sports lockers" is high, leading us to conclude that introducing this type would be the best decision for the next 30 years. Ultimately, we obtained estimates from four vendors, and after thorough discussions at the board meeting, we decided to place an order with Nibari Works, located in Higashi-Osaka City, due to their excellent past production and installation track record, as well as the convenience of maintenance in the future. After the construction, we have received feedback from club members such as, "It feels like I've come to a different room!" "My motivation has increased significantly!" and "I will continue to use it carefully!" We delivered sports lockers to the training camp of a professional baseball team.
Through our website, we received a request from a sports facility company. We were commissioned to produce and install 60 large lockers for the clubhouse of a professional baseball team's training camp. We created product drawings for the lockers and determined the layout based on the provided floor plan. After receiving instructions on the colors for the lockers and seating, we moved on to in-house production. The installation work in the Kyushu region (Miyazaki Prefecture) was carried out by our company employees.
In lockers, cabinets, and other steel furniture, there are many enclosures with doors, and our company possesses design and processing know-how for these.
The way the door opens greatly affects the impression of the locker, the design of the space, and usability. What kind of design should be considered depending on how it will be used? Typical locker structures include "single door" and "double door." If the width is W600-650 or more, we usually choose a double door; if it is less than that, we typically opt for a single door. In terms of locking mechanisms, single doors often have a structure where a cam is attached to the side frame of the main body, while double doors primarily use a structure with a round bar bolt.
The trend of producing a variety of products in small quantities is a challenge faced by many sheet metal factories. We will introduce our efforts towards the identification management and efficiency of punched parts.
To accommodate the diversification and reduction of production quantities, the identification management and efficiency improvement of extracted parts have become significant challenges in the manufacturing field. We have jointly developed a system linked to a centralized system and associated equipment.
Having our own painting line is a significant strength for our company. We are capable of both solvent painting and powder coating.
The painting, which has a significant impact on appearance, is directly linked to quality. What challenges need to be addressed and how should we tackle them? In establishing our company's greatest feature, the "integrated production system," conducting painting in-house has become a very important factor. Ensuring accountability for quality and reducing lead times are crucial factors that can be achieved by handling everything internally. Particularly, sheet metal processing companies that have their own painting facilities are relatively few, making this a significant strength for us. By promoting production that does not burden the painting process, we are enhancing our technical level. Specifically, by eliminating the need for putty and focusing on welding finishes, we establish standards to ensure quality with the minimum necessary energy by confirming what level of finish is required for each painting method and coordinating between the welding and painting processes.
About the innovations in material handling (nesting) at our company.
Nesting refers to the process of combining and arranging multiple parts from steel materials. Its purpose is to reduce material waste. Specifically, how can we improve material yield and achieve efficient machine operation? In the era when turret punch presses were the main machinery, steel was purchased in sketch material sized to fit each part, and it was common to process each piece individually. However, as laser-turret punch combination machines became the mainstay, the method shifted to purchasing standard-sized materials for processing. Consequently, CAM software transitioned from AP100 to Dr. ABE, giving rise to the culture of nesting. However, using standard sizes for each product as in the past resulted in poor yield, leading to increased material costs and a tendency for product costs to rise.

This is a fireproof clothing locker designed for two sets (for four people) that has received great acclaim from our customers. By using a rotating panel system, it allows firefighters to use it quickly. This time, the installation was carried out by our company employees, resulting in a product that meets your satisfaction.
We have delivered 9 units to the Hyogo Prefectural Fire Department.
In accordance with the customer's request, we manufactured a fireproof clothing locker with a rotating panel that has two shelves for a single unit (for two people), and six shelves on both sides of the locker body, which is part of our standard specifications. It has become a product with excellent storage capacity. We also handled the delivery and installation ourselves.
We received an inquiry through industry word-of-mouth from another professional team we supplied in the past.
I visited a customer in Tokyo, held a meeting, and made layout proposals and specifications. Since it was for a large professional rugby player, we increased the standard size of our sports locker (W700×D700) by 50mm, making it W750×D750. We received a layout diagram and incorporated it into the design, handling the installation as well. We were able to finish it stylishly with red lockers representing the fiery automotive group.
