The 3D images captured using expensive equipment have primarily been viewed on monitors or in printed materials. However, by creating models, we can expand the use cases for presentations, research presentations, exhibitions, education, advertising, and more, as well as newly utilize existing 3D images for various applications, which is expected to have a ripple effect across the entire field of 3D imaging. It is possible to model various materials, such as data from die-cast products with voids extracted and models visualizing the internal structure of LED bulbs.

We would like to introduce a case of creating a polystyrene model of the "World Heritage" Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace. A polystyrene model at a 1/5 scale (height 3.1m) of the "World Heritage" Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace (a nationally designated historic site) was produced. We also recreated the fireproof bricks and the interior of the melting furnace. The model was installed at an event (exhibition) during the 2016 World Foundry Conference and was donated to Izunokuni City. We would like to introduce a case of on-site packing work conducted at an exhibition venue in Tokyo. We focused on how to efficiently design and carry out the work within the limited space and time available. For the movable parts and very fine details of the models to be packed, we processed cushioning materials on-site on the day of the work and carried out the packing. We also held close discussions with the removal contractors at the exhibition venue to ensure efficient operations.
