Free gift of urethane rubber cast hardness samples! 【Vacuum casting method】

Even for soft products, why not create proper prototypes? With the 'vacuum casting method,' we can manufacture prototypes from just one piece using urethane rubber casting!

When attempting to mass-produce "soft products" like rubber and elastomer products, there is always a sense of unease because one has no choice but to create the final mold immediately, even for complex shapes. With our "vacuum casting method," urethane rubber casting is possible. There are a wide range of hardness options from 20 to 90 degrees, and coloring of the material is also flexible. By accommodating prototype rubber products, we can mitigate risks during mass production! ★ Urethane casting using the vacuum casting method can handle complex shapes at low cost and with short lead times, even for just one piece. 【Features of Vacuum Casting】 - Supports small lots and achieves short lead times - Capable of reproducing complex shapes - Abundant options for hardness and color selection We are currently offering hardness samples to the first five companies that apply! Please take the opportunity to try out our sample products made using the vacuum casting method! *If you would like a sample, please feel free to contact us using the information below.

What is vacuum injection molding? ~ Vacuum vs. Atmosphere ~ *Technical materials available!

We are offering a technical document featuring vacuum casting techniques made from rubber materials!

"Vacuum casting" is a method that uses silicone molds instead of metal molds to produce replicas that faithfully reproduce the master model. The work is conducted in a vacuum state to ensure that the injected resin reaches every corner without bubbles. This document includes the work procedures for "vacuum casting" and experiments/results comparing "vacuum casting" and "atmospheric casting." [Contents] ■ What is vacuum casting ■ Why work in a vacuum ■ Experiment: Vacuum vs. Atmospheric ■ Results *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

New 3D Surface Decoration Using Gas Jigs - Neo-TOM Molding

Attention is drawn to a painting alternative method that grants functionality! The dimple effect of golf balls applied to automobile bodies!

"Neo-TOM molding" is a method that has evolved the TOM process for decorating ultra-large products (such as automobile bodies). A major feature is that while conventional jigs were solid, this method utilizes gas, allowing for the coating of surface materials on substrates with complex shapes that have cavities, without deformation or damage. While maintaining the uniqueness of the TOM process, the substrate (product) can be ultra-large (heavy) and is fixed in a designated position, allowing for a reduction in the weight of the equipment as the surface film side descends. 【Features】 ■ Decoration is possible on substrates made of aluminum, magnesium alloys, ceramics, etc. ■ Expresses a genuine texture with "textures" that cannot be achieved by other methods. ■ Gaining attention as an alternative method for coating that imparts functionality. ■ Can decorate ultra-large products (such as automobile bodies). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Oyodo Kasei explains [the mechanism of extrusion molding] *video explanation*

A clear explanation of the extrusion molding process in a video!

Extrusion molding is divided into five main processes. (1) The material fed into the extruder is heated and melted into a gooey state, then extruded towards the mold like "tokoroten" (a type of Japanese jelly). The materials vary in hardness; some are soft like rubber, while others are hard. (2) In the mold, the melted material from the extruder takes on the shape of the mold. (3) In a water tank, the extruded shape is cooled and shaped properly. (4) The formed products are transported by a take-up machine. Although it is called extrusion molding, it is actually being pulled. The dimensions are adjusted by varying the pull strength, similar to how gum stretches. (5) In the cutting machine, the products are cut to the desired length specified by the customer, or they may be rolled up and then cut. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Metal and ceramic 3D printer filament materials

We have developed materials for filament-type 3D printers that are advancing in popularity under the MEX method.

We have developed 3D printer filament materials for metals and ceramics that can be used with filament-type 3D printers, which are becoming more widespread under the MEX method. The filament type uses a rod-shaped filament material that is fed by gears, and the material is extruded from a heated nozzle and layered. By balancing factors such as "flexibility for winding into filament shape" and "strength for 3D printing through gear extrusion" while mixing metals and ceramics, we have created filament materials that enable the 3D printing of metals and ceramics with filament-type 3D printers. After printing, debinding and sintering can be performed to obtain a sintered body of metals and ceramics that maintains the shape created by 3D printing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. (Further explanations are available on the official website below.)
