"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 79, we tried 3D printing using one of the rich option parts of the large 3D printer "Modix" series, the "Super Volcano Nozzle." In recent years, the development of large printers has progressed due to the desire to print large models all at once. In such large-scale printing, the concern is the printing time. It is not uncommon for it to take several hundred hours, so users want to shorten the printing time as much as possible. The "Modix" series offers the high-flow hot end "Super Volcano Nozzle" as an option to meet such demands. It is said that high-speed printing can be achieved because the melting area is larger compared to standard nozzles. In this document, we verify the actual printing speed.
