Patent obtained in May! Loop flow microbubble generation nozzle.

The loop flow microbubble generation nozzle has been patented!

The Loop Flow Microbubble Generation Nozzle, application number 2008-034846, was granted a patent on May 15, 2012, and the patent registration process was completed on the 21st, resulting in the acquisition of the patent. We were considering a "divisional application," but concluded that it was unnecessary, and completed the patent registration process on the 21st. It took four years from the application. No one had created a similar microbubble generation nozzle. Neither patent searches nor internet searches revealed any designs that maximized the characteristics of loop flow. In August of this year, I will present on "Characteristics and Application Examples of the Loop Flow Microbubble Generation Nozzle" at a conference of the Japan Society of Multiphase Flow at the University of Tokyo, Kashiwa Campus. Custom 1000mL/min MB generation nozzle features (made of Teflon)

A Teflon microbubble generation nozzle with an output of 1000 mL/min has been completed.

The custom 1000mL/min MB generation nozzle (made of Teflon) features a very high vacuum level in the nozzle agitation section, reaching 95.5% at 0.3MPa. It is energy-efficient for low pressure use. Additionally, it has a very high self-priming capacity, at 130% of the discharge amount. The 1000mL/min nozzle has no discontinuity in self-priming capacity. The OKE-MB01FJ and OKE-MB03FJ show discontinuity in self-priming capacity near a water pressure of 0.15MPa. Microbubbles are generated even in a jacuzzi state. This nozzle has been used in experiments for cleaning with ultra-pure water. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Generation of microbubbles in anhydrous ethanol.

I filmed how microbubbles are generated.

I recorded a video on how microbubbles are generated in 99.5% anhydrous ethanol. I placed a glass filled with ethanol into an empty tank and generated the bubbles using a nozzle with a flow rate of 420 cc/min. The pressure was about 0.27 MPa. In the first half, the solution was a thick white turbidity, but it became thinner in the second half. It seems that there is a bit of a trick to controlling the generation of microbubbles. Since I was using an electromagnetic pump, I tried to reduce vibrations by using a silicone rubber tube, but it burst during the experiment. The video was recorded after changing to a urethane tube where the pressure was applied. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Improving the cutting of machine tools with fine bubbles! *Case study collection available.

By simply installing the microbubble generation device "OK Nozzle," there are cases of reduced processing time and prevention of coolant liquid contamination and decay!

Fine bubbles refer to the general term for microbubbles and ultrafine bubbles (nanobubbles). Ultrahigh fine bubbles (UFB) are nanobubbles (NB). *Defined in June 2017 by ISO TC281. Our "OK Nozzle" is an ultrafine bubble generation device with a very high generation efficiency of [480 million bubbles/mL]. The effects of fine bubbles are diverse and are effective even in cutting and grinding situations. **Effects of using the microbubble generation device "OK Nozzle":** - Improved cutting and grinding performance - Cleaning and purification of coolant tanks - Prevention of edge chipping during aluminum cutting - Separation of lubricating oil and cutting oil - Purification of cutting fluid and prevention of spoilage This document details cases where the "OK Nozzle" was used in cutting with machine tools. It includes examples where the cutting depth increased from 4μm to 7μm, reducing processing time, and cases where the generation of biofilms on the inner surface of water-soluble coolant tanks was suppressed. *For more details, please contact OK Engineering. If you would like the document, please refer to the PDF materials.

[Case] New release of loop flow OK nozzle for draft beer.

Fine bubbles rise for a long time! A case of the server's self-cleaning ability and the beer becoming smoother.

The "fine bubble generation nozzle for draft beer" was developed over three years starting in 2014 with the support of the national "monozukuri subsidy." The goal was to enable self-cleaning of draft beer servers, but it was discovered as a byproduct that the draft beer became "mellow." It is hypothesized that this is due to ultra-fine bubbles (nanobubbles). Additionally, we requested an investigation from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology to understand why draft beer with fine bubbles becomes "mellow." They conducted comparisons of floating Pocky, foam generation with Mentos, and analyses using an electron microscope. *For detailed information on the case, please refer to the related links. For more details, feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] China Experiments with Fine Bubbles for Pig Farm Waste Treatment

Using the 500L OK nozzle! A case where many fundamental aspects of pig manure and urine treatment technology were understood.

Initially, the purpose of purchasing the OK nozzle was for the treatment of domestic wastewater, so a single φ16 self-priming hose was used. However, the actual experiment involved the treatment of pig manure, and it was being investigated how much processing capacity could be achieved with the "500L OK nozzle" to generate fine bubbles and whether it could meet the standard values. At the time of installation, it was noted that the NH3 levels did not reach the standard values, and inquiries were made regarding countermeasures. Through several email exchanges involving an interpreter, the current situation was somewhat understood, so measures were proposed to ensure that ammonia levels fell within the standard values. Experimental methods were suggested, and solutions were clearly outlined. Based on these instructions, some improvements were made, but only insufficient interim data was obtained, and after being informed that "there was a prospect of clearing the standard values," the final data was not sent. However, many fundamental aspects of pig manure treatment technology were understood from this experiment, so it was decided to compile the results, including the progress of this experiment. *For detailed information about the case, please refer to the related links. For more details, feel free to contact us.*
