Building materials with adsorption and decomposition functions are attracting attention! Due to their alkaline nature, they are also expected to have antibacterial and anti-mold effects.

In recent years, plaster has begun to attract attention as a building material with the ability to adsorb and decompose "formaldehyde," which is considered a major cause of chemical sensitivity. Additionally, due to its alkaline nature, plaster is also expected to have antibacterial and mold-resistant effects. After application, plaster dries from the surface and gradually hardens into a lump of lime, taking a long time to cure (or mineralize) while absorbing carbon dioxide from the air. It is said that this process takes about 10 years for a thickness of 1mm. In the "Kizuri substrate method" using "Seto plaster," plaster is applied at a thickness of over 8mm, which enhances its effectiveness due to the increased thickness.
