A compact, wide-range, low-cost integrated temperature and humidity probe. It outputs linearly from DC 0 to 1V for relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH. There are types available with only humidity output and types with temperature output as well. It can be replaced on-site with compatible humidity sensors. The platinum temperature sensor is a high-precision A-class three-wire resistance thermometer. The standard probe length is 80 mm, with options for 200/250/350 mm available. The standard 500 mm long cable can also be extended or detached with connectors. There are many options available, including waterproof and water-repellent processing for humidity sensors in condensation environments, dust and mist sensor caps, and modifications for AC adapters. **Overview** A current pulse is applied from the top of the probe, generating a magnetic field around the entire probe. By installing a float with a powerful magnet on the probe, it distorts the magnetic field in the vicinity. This distortion occurs only at the moment the current pulse is applied and propagates as a mechanical elastic wave towards both ends of the probe. The time of this propagation is measured to display the absolute position of the float.
