Another reason why ULTEM polyetherimide (PEI) resin is loved is its sustainability. SABIC offers two ULTEM grades that contain a significant percentage of industrial recycled content, aiming for 70% PIR. You can choose from 30% glass fiber reinforced ULTEMAUR200G6 resin and non-reinforced ULTEMAUR200G0 resin. Both can provide the long-term heat resistance, strength, dimensional stability, and flame retardancy characteristic of ULTEM materials.
