We conducted an "eddy current testing" analysis to detect surface defects on the conductor plate.

The eddy current testing (non-destructive testing) using the external field method has a significant analytical symmetry, which is divided into a conductor plate and a probe. The probe consists of two types of coils: an excitation coil and a differential detection coil. We calculated the eddy current distribution when a current with a frequency of 500 Hz was applied to the excitation coil of the probe, as well as the induced electromotive force in the differential detection coil.
