It is used for relatively large measurement items that cannot fit within a microscope measuring up to 700mm × 700mm × 600mm. It enables measurement in the XYZ three-dimensional directions and provides accurate measurement values by making contact with the measurement item. In recent years, three-dimensional dimensional evaluation, such as geometric tolerances, has become necessary, and accurate evaluations are possible by utilizing the functions of the three-dimensional measuring device. When measuring a large number of identical shapes, measurement programs are created. We would like to introduce the process of 3D scanning that we conduct. 3D scanning can digitize various objects, but there are limitations to the applications of the data obtained solely from 3D scanning, and it is not possible to directly create 3D models or 2D drawings. We respond to the diverse needs of our customers at each stage of the process. 【Steps of 3D Scanning (Partial)】 1. Place the object in a desired position. 2. Scanning of large parts is possible using a high-precision handheld 3D scanner (photogrammetry function allows for up to 4m). 3. The only output directly obtained from the 3D scanner is point cloud data (raw data). 4. To utilize the obtained point cloud data, we use accompanying software to convert it into polygons.
