High-temperature heat sink copper with nickel plating + high-temperature scale zero coating

The issue with copper materials, which are widely used due to their thermal conductivity cost in various heat dissipation plates, heat sinks, and thermal compression terminal jigs, is performance degradation caused by the formation of oxide scale.

Various heat dissipation plates and heat sinks, as well as thermal compression terminal jigs, commonly use copper materials due to their thermal conductivity cost. The issue is the degradation of performance caused by the formation of oxidation scale, particularly in thermal problems that exceed 500°C, which cannot be addressed with aluminum. While copper is the next candidate due to its processability and price in terms of thermal conductivity, the oxidation scale that occurs at high temperatures poses problems for heat dissipation and contamination. We have now applied nickel plating to copper substrates and conducted our specialty treatment to prevent high-temperature oxidation scale with a transparent coating. This allows the thermal conductivity of copper to remain intact while making it usable at temperatures up to 900°C in air. We also offer coating treatment for the copper heat sinks you are currently using.

I tried creating a large model with reduced weight using Form3L.

Mitarepo [6] Tried creating large models with the newly launched 3D printer 'Form 3L' by reducing their weight!

"Mitarepo" is a series based on the concept of "Trying out things like this!" where we introduce what can be done using various products. We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product categories handled by System Create. The theme of Vol. 6 is "What effects can be achieved by lightweighting large models with Form3L?" In the previous issue, we communicated that the "Form 3L" can create high-quality models without falling, even for large models. However, we received inquiries and requests from many customers asking if it could be done at a lower cost. Therefore, this time we tried creating lightweight large models. In the materials, we will edit the internal structure while keeping the appearance the same, actually create the lightweight data, and verify the material costs, printing time, and print quality by comparing it with the original model. - What effects does lightweighting have, and how significant are they? - Will the print quality decrease due to lightweighting? We explain the "real facts" that you might be curious about, along with comments from our technical staff and actual screens. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I scanned a grain of rice and made it 100 times its actual size!

[Mitarepo] Ultra-small 3D scan × large print! Scanned 5mm rice and printed it at 500mm!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. The theme of Vol.19 is "We 3D scanned a grain of rice and made it 100 times its actual size!" Mitarepo has tackled various projects so far, but Vol.19 is taking on a unique and unconventional theme! As mentioned above, we are 3D scanning a grain of rice, scaling it up, and then 3D printing it. This is the first time we are scanning and printing something so small, but it should definitely result in something impressive...! So this time, we scanned a grain of rice that is only 5mm in size. We enlarged the data to 100 times its height and attempted to print it. "How well can we scan ultra-small objects?" "Was the 100 times larger rice successfully completed?" Please pay attention to each step as you watch. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried adjusting the 3D data of the assembly for powder molding.

What points should be noted for powder 3D printing? I tried adjusting the 3D data for movable assemblies!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. The theme of Vol. 41 is "I tried adjusting the 3D data of the assembly for powder 3D printing!" In the previous issue, we challenged ourselves to create a solid structure using the STL data of a Rubik's Cube with the powder 3D printer Fuse 1, but unfortunately, it did not rotate... The cause was that it had already been integrated at the stage of the CT scan data. From this result, we learned that "to make 'usable 3D data,' adjustments according to subsequent applications are necessary." Therefore, this time we adjusted the STL data to be suitable for SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) method. "What does it mean to 'make usable 3D data'?" "What should we be careful about in powder 3D printing?" We will explain the considerations during data adjustment, along with verification photos and comments from our technical staff. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried the Super Volcano Nozzle!

[Mitarepo] I tried to see how much the printing speed can be increased by using a high-flow hot end! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 79, we tried 3D printing using one of the rich option parts of the large 3D printer "Modix" series, the "Super Volcano Nozzle." In recent years, the development of large printers has progressed due to the desire to print large models all at once. In such large-scale printing, the concern is the printing time. It is not uncommon for it to take several hundred hours, so users want to shorten the printing time as much as possible. The "Modix" series offers the high-flow hot end "Super Volcano Nozzle" as an option to meet such demands. It is said that high-speed printing can be achieved because the melting area is larger compared to standard nozzles. In this document, we verify the actual printing speed. The results are explained along with images and comments. You can download the document from the button below.

Mitarepo [81] 168 hours! Tried UV exposure on a light-formed model.

[Mitarepo] A light sculpture that doesn't lose to the sun!? We tested a weather-resistant resin model with 168 hours of UV exposure! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 81, we used a weather-resistant resin print model to verify how resistant it is to material changes through prolonged UV exposure. While light curing allows for fine details, doesn't it make you worry about breakage or color changes over time? There are surprisingly many environments unsuitable for UV-curable resin, not just outdoors but also indoors in places exposed to direct sunlight, as well as areas with temperature and humidity fluctuations. It would be great if we could maintain beauty without worrying about storage methods or placement, thanks to weather resistance. This time, we conducted extensive UV exposure to answer questions like, "How weather-resistant is it?" and "Does it really resist changes?" In the materials, we will explain dimensional changes and the appearance with measurement records and images of the actual models. You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried high-speed printing with PolySonic!

[Mitarepo] New Arrival! Challenging High-Speed Forming with Materials that Have High Fluidity! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 83, we tested how much we could shorten the printing speed using the newly released "high fluidity material" PolySonic PLA. While FDM 3D printers allow for easy 3D printing, have you ever thought, "I want to print faster!"? The printing speed has limitations not only due to the machine's specifications but also because of the material's fluidity. This time, we challenged ourselves to high-speed printing by increasing the feed rate fourfold using PolySonic PLA! "How much can we reduce the printing time?" "What does the model printed at high speed look like?" In the materials, we will explain and observe the printing time and model quality under the same conditions as regular PLA, along with images. We deliver helpful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. In Vol. 98, we challenged ourselves to create using the newly offered "Open Material Mode" from Formlabs. Formlabs has newly started licensing the "Open Material Mode," which allows for the use of any material for printing with the Form 4, further expanding the possibilities of creation! However, you might have questions about the actual user experience, such as "Can it print nicely?" or "Does it seem difficult to set up?" So this time, we used the weather-resistant resin "Fort Resin" to create a sample model! The materials' settings, configurations in Preform, and the appearance of the model after printing are explained with images in the documentation. *You can download the materials from the button below.

Marsgo enables high-quality molding with the maintenance of horizontality and parallelism!

What is the mechanism for maintaining the important horizontal level for high-quality molding? This explains large-scale stereolithography (SLA) printers.

In conventional SLA machines, metals and cast materials are often used, but the biggest feature of this model is that it adopts "granite" as the main structural material. ■Benefits of Using Granite (Key to High-Precision Modeling) 1. Ultimate Vibration Damping Granite has a higher vibration absorption capability than metals. This effectively suppresses the fine vibrations generated during platform movement and stirring during modeling, achieving high-precision modeling without layer misalignment or distortion. 2. Excellent Thermal Stability Granite has minimal thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring that the basic structure of the machine remains stable even during long modeling sessions or in environments with significant temperature changes, maintaining high dimensional accuracy. 3. Reduced Aging Degradation Unlike cast materials, granite experiences almost no aging changes (creep) due to internal stress, allowing it to maintain its initial precision over long periods. The document provides a detailed explanation of the structures and mechanisms that maintain such horizontality and parallelism, so please take a moment to read it. *You can download the document using the button below.

I measured the dimensions of the work created at each position!

【Mitarepo】How is the dimensional reproducibility of a large printer using light curing technology!? We measured the workpieces created at various positions in a wide area | System Create

Mitarepo is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" The high-quality and high-speed 3D printer using light curing technology, "Soonser Mars Pro 850." This time, to investigate whether stable dimensional reproduction can be achieved regardless of where in the 850mm square build area the printing is done, we placed multiple workpieces and conducted the printing. We thoroughly checked the reproducibility based on placement positions and differences due to shapes! "Can it print uniformly all the way to the edges of the wide build area?" "What is the difference between the data dimensions and the actual dimensions?" We will introduce these points of interest along with images of the actual printed test pieces and measurement results. *You can download the materials from the button below.
