Tokyo Shinjuku Vegifruit Co., Ltd. wholesales vegetables and fruits from all over the country at the Tokyo Central Wholesale Market Yodobashi Market. This time, Tokyo Shinjuku Vegifruit utilized a subsidy from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Market Logistics Innovation Promotion Project Utilizing Advanced Technology" to implement one unmanned transport vehicle (AGV) and two conveyors (chain conveyor / conveyor with lifter) as part of their efforts to improve logistics efficiency. The unmanned transport vehicle will automatically transport goods from the automated warehouse to designated locations and from designated locations back to the automated warehouse. The performance of the TKS Group's AGV (unmanned transport vehicle), which can operate in the challenging environment of the wholesale market with steps and slopes (rough terrain), was evaluated and led to its adoption.

We have delivered a shutter-equipped unmanned transport vehicle to Ajinomoto Co., Inc. As part of a project to significantly review their supply chain, Ajinomoto was considering the introduction of unmanned transport vehicles for product transportation within the factory. There were many challenges in transporting between buildings, including rain, dust, slopes, passing through grates, passing through air showers, and automatic transfer. Encountering KKS's AGV introduction video, which showed the vehicle running on rain-soaked asphalt, crossing grates, and easily overcoming steps and slopes, opened the path to solving these challenges, leading to the birth of the shutter-equipped unmanned transport vehicle to meet all their requirements. A total of 8 unmanned transport vehicles are centrally managed and operate throughout the factory day and night. In addition to the AGVs, KKS has also supplied conveyors for inbound and outbound logistics as ancillary equipment.
