Bioplastics derived from corn that are biodegradable and cheaper than conventional materials.

Biodegradable bioplastics derived from plants = plastics that return to the soil. Since they are made from plant-based materials, they can offset greenhouse gas emissions during combustion (carbon neutral).

As a bio-based and biodegradable resin material, it is developed and patented by a Hong Kong capital company. It has a production capacity of 10,000 tons per year and a material development system located in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, with a track record of 10 years since production began. The plants used as raw materials are non-GMO, ultra-high molecular weight, and have a low MFR, making them safe for applications that come into direct contact with food due to the absence of harmful additives. The bio-based content certified by the U.S. certification body BETA is up to 52%. It is 100% biodegradable and is currently applying for the European standard "EN13432." Biodegradable sheet for thermoforming VS-60-1-B is over 70% biodegradable and complies with China's recommended national standard "GB/T 20197-2006." The plants used as raw materials are non-GMO, and the bio-based content certified by the U.S. certification body BETA is up to 81%. It is safe for applications that come into direct contact with food (RoHS, REACH testing completed). High-quality molding can be achieved with standard plastic processing equipment.

[Production Example] Bio-material Pellets for Liquid Bottles

A high-concentration material with 80% blend of crushed oyster shells and wood powder, suitable for blow molding and environmentally friendly.

We would like to introduce a case study of the production of "bio-material pellets for liquid bottles" using 100% biomass resin (bioplastics). By blending 80% high-concentration powder from oyster shells and wood powder, and combining it with bio-material resin, we achieved a 100% bio-material (excluding additives) that is suitable for blow molding, making it an environmentally friendly material. We assist brand owners in their sustainability efforts (reducing petroleum-based resins, reducing CO2 emissions, etc.) and help communicate information on reducing environmental impact through the replacement of materials in everyday life. 【Case Overview】 ■ Usage scenarios: Bottles for detergents, liquid soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc. ■ Industries: Toiletries industry, shampoo industry, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Knowledge Column] What is "Bioplastic"?

Make plastic plant-based! An explanation of the differences with biomass plastic.

"Bioplastics" is a general term for biomass plastics and biodegradable plastics. "Biomass plastics" are made from renewable organic resources such as plants, while "biodegradable plastics" are those that are ultimately broken down into CO2 and water by the action of microorganisms. Although the names are similar, "biomass plastics" (non-biodegradable) include engineering plastics like polycarbonate, which are enhanced resins with functions such as polyethylene and heat and impact resistance, used in a wide range of products. [Features] - 90% plant-derived - By converting to CNF-blended biopolyethylene, CO2 emissions can be reduced by 16.5% *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
