Dry Surface "Polyimide Coating"

We offer two types: one with excellent insulation properties and heat resistance, and another with excellent thermal insulation properties.

"Polyimide coating" is a dry lubrication coating that offers heat resistance and insulation. There are two types: "Type ST," which excels in insulation properties, heat resistance, and wear resistance, and "Type BP," which has excellent heat resistance and insulation properties due to its porous structure. "Type ST" has excellent chemical resistance against organic solvents, gasoline, automotive oils, alkalis, acids, and more. "Type BP" features breathability and liquid permeability, providing outstanding insulation due to its porous nature. [Features] ■ Supports high-temperature processes up to 500°C (Type ST) ■ Highest level of mechanical properties among polymers (Type ST) ■ Thermal expansion is close to that of metals, providing excellent adhesion (Type ST) ■ Excellent heat resistance (approximately 300°C) (Type BP) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Problem Solving Case] I want to improve the release properties of rubber molds.

Improved release properties and sliding performance! It is necessary to create a certain surface roughness on the mold before Nip-PTFE plating!

We would like to introduce a case that addresses the request to "improve the release properties of rubber molds." Physical irregularities were formed on the mold surface through shot blasting, but issues arose as sand got stuck, and unstable grain size led to molding defects. In response, we proposed our 'NiP-PTFE,' which allows for roughness adjustment through film thickness. Since it is an electroless treatment and chemically processed, uniformity can be ensured, and it also allows for the elimination of the blasting process. [Key Points for Problem Solving] - For improving the release properties of resin and rubber molding, there are applicable cases for Teflon coatings, hard chrome plating, PVD-TiN, CrN, etc. - While coatings and plating are important, the surface roughness after treatment is also a very important factor. - In addition to this case, we can also form "micro dimples" on the surface. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Slick coat (S/H) - a carbon thin film with high hardness, electrical insulation properties, and infrared transmittance.

Slick coat (S/H) - a carbon thin film with high hardness, electrical insulation properties, and infrared transmittance.

**Application** It is also effective for insulation. DLC coating is currently used in many applications and has shown effectiveness, but there were concerns about adhesion under high loads due to its high hardness and low-temperature treatment. DLC-soft was developed to address this issue by significantly improving the adhesion of the coating by lowering its hardness to an acceptable range. This coating has been spreading mainly in Europe and the United States and is being applied to sliding and rolling parts that experience high loads, such as automotive components and fuel injection pump parts.

Slip-enhancing coating "S-V Coat"

Improving the slip properties of various products! A coating aimed at enhancing slip properties in areas where DLC could not be applied.

The "S-V Coat," a film that improves sliding properties, targets areas where DLC (diamond-like carbon) has not been able to provide adequate sliding performance until now. We propose this film as an alternative to DLC for components in environments where continuous repeat use has been difficult due to issues with peeling and heat resistance, while you have been using DLC for the purpose of improving sliding properties. 【Features】 ■ Reduction of friction due to special surface shape effects ■ Improved sliding properties for solid materials such as glass, non-ferrous metals, and plastics ■ Excellent wear resistance with a film hardness of HV3000-3500 ■ Durability surpassing conventional non-stick coatings and DLC ■ Excellent oxidation resistance characteristics ■ Oxidation start temperature of 1100°C, suitable for environments where DLC could not be used
