We can handle shape processing of short lead-time ceramics, as well as composite parts and surface treatment.

We offer comprehensive proposals ranging from the processing of complex shapes of various ceramics to integration with metal and resin parts, as well as various surface treatments (plating, coating).

At Ishihara Chemical, we respond to requests from material procurement to shape processing with short lead times, offering various applications as value-added products of a higher standard. Are you facing any of the following issues? - Wanting to bond two types of ceramics with a paste material to utilize their respective properties. - Looking to increase mechanical strength by soldering metal parts. - Aiming to enhance durability by bonding part of it with resin components as a wear-resistant measure. - Wanting to electrolessly plate ceramics to make part of it conductive. And more. We are here to meet a variety of requests, so please feel free to consult with us. 【Exhibition Information Announcement】 Exhibition Name: VACUUM2022 Vacuum Exhibition Date: 2022/10/19–21 Booth Number: V-55 Exhibited Products: Machinable ceramics, processed samples of engineering plastics, bonding of dissimilar materials, and metallized products. We sincerely look forward to your visit!

Machinable ceramics

"Machinable ceramics" that can be processed by cutting.

1. Extensive machining (cutting, turning, milling, grinding, drilling, threading, polishing, etc.) is possible. 2. No heat treatment is required after processing. 3. Ultra-precise finishing that is impossible with conventional ceramics is achievable. 4. Capable of machining complex shapes that cannot be produced with conventional ceramics. 5. The convenience of being able to use it immediately after machining. 6. Ultra-convenient high-speed steel tools can be used. 7. Complete confidentiality is ensured when processed in-house. 8. A white, dense, isotropic homogeneous material. 9. Scientifically stable, non-toxic material that is safe for humans and animals. 10. Due to its non-porous nature, it has low gas permeability and degassing, with a zero water absorption rate. Suitable as a vacuum material.

Short lead-time machinable ceramics for those troubled by thermal issues in parts.

Exhibiting at the 3/3 Prototype Market & Micro/Precision Machining Technology Exhibition! No need to create molds for either! Easily machined and available immediately. Can be processed with handheld tools!

Makol® is a new ceramic material that shares the properties of glass and ceramics with the ease of metal processing. It allows for ultra-precise finishing and complex shapes that are impossible with conventional ceramics. No firing is required after processing, and it can be used as is. It has excellent radiation resistance and electrical properties, with an insulation breakdown voltage of 40kV/mm. It also excels in thermal insulation and heat resistance, making it usable from -273 to 1000°C. Shaparl® Hi Msoft is a ceramic with excellent machinability, high strength, and high thermal conductivity. It has strength comparable to alumina and offers machinability, enabling the realization of "high strength" and "short delivery times." Particularly, it does not require molds, making it suitable for various applications such as research and development products, and it can accommodate complex shapes. 【Features】 ■ Makol - Can be machined with high-speed tools. - Has thermal insulation properties. - Exceptional processing accuracy (can achieve precision equivalent to metal processing). ■ Shaparl Hi Msoft - No grinding wheel needed. Can be machined. - Has heat dissipation properties. - Has strength comparable to alumina. *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.
