Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" usage example: material change.

Introducing examples that significantly reduce the time and cost required for switching!

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of "Asacrin," which can significantly improve production efficiency. In injection molding, we switched materials from black ABS to white HIPS. When replacing with HIPS alone, the resin usage is 3.8 kg, whereas the total usage when using Asacrin U grade drops to 0.8 kg. This represents a reduction of over 75% in resin usage. Additionally, this also results in a reduction in the time required for the switch, as well as a decrease in the cost of the resin used for replacement and the amount of waste generated. [Customer Feedback] ■ Previously, it took about 4 hours for the initial waste, but with Asacrin "FX grade," it was completed in just 1 hour. ■ By using Asacrin "FD grade," we were able to reduce the amount of cleaning agent used to two-thirds compared to when using other materials. ■ After testing Asacrin "UP grade" with 20 kg, the color change was completed in just 1 hour, leading to significant reductions in waste and time. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" case study: High-temperature resin switching

Introducing how to solve the major challenge of switching from super engineering plastics to low-temperature resins in the molding process!

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of "Asaclean," which can optimize the switching costs of high-temperature resins. Switching from super engineering plastics molded at high temperatures to low-temperature resins is challenging due to the loss of resin fluidity. Even switching between super engineering plastics necessitates the costly waste of expensive resins for purging. In this product case, we reduced the amount of PEI required for switching from super engineering plastics by approximately 67%. [Customer Feedback] ■ Due to old equipment, issues such as foreign matter generation occur when continuously molding materials like PEEK, making the use of Asaclean essential. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Degreasing detergent, flux cleaning agent "Nexia Series"

"HFC-365mfc" is an alternative to cleaning agents! Not subject to the Fire Service Act, Organic Chemicals Regulation, or Special Regulations!

Due to the discontinuation of "HFC-365mfc" two years ago, the supply of many fluorinated cleaning agents that use this as a raw material will come to an end. Kaneko Chemical's "Nexia Series" can serve as an alternative to the cleaning agents currently using "HFC-365mfc." It is a fluorinated cleaning agent with fewer regulatory restrictions, as it is not subject to the PRTR Law or the Fire Service Law, and it also takes global warming into consideration. 【How to check if your cleaning agent corresponds to a product using "HFC-365mfc"】 Please check the SDS of your current cleaning agent. If it contains the following listed substance, procurement will no longer be possible due to the discontinuation of "HFC-365mfc." CAS registration number: 406-58-6 Substance name: 1,1,1,3,3-Pentafluorobutane

Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" case study: packaging materials

Introducing how Asaclean is making an impact in the packaging materials industry, where foreign substance contamination is not permitted!

We would like to introduce a case study of "Asacrin," which can significantly reduce the materials and time required for resin switching. Packaging materials are often used in consumer goods such as beverages/food and cosmetics, and great care must be taken during the manufacturing process to avoid contamination from different resins or resin degradation foreign substances. This product effectively washes away resins with its high cleaning power, strongly preventing the contamination of products with foreign substances. [Customer Feedback] ■ Since using Asacrin "new EX grade," foreign substance defects have drastically decreased. When checking after removing the screw, the condition was remarkably cleaner compared to before. ■ Previously, about 4 hours of waste shots were necessary, but with Asacrin "FX grade," resin switching was completed in just 1 hour. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" usage example: Extrusion blow molding

Contributes to the reduction of various manufacturing costs, including electricity bills and waste disposal, in addition to reducing the time and resin amount for material and color changes in extrusion blow molding!

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of "Asacrin," which significantly improves efficiency. In the field of extrusion blow molding, it is essential to minimize unnecessary resin and downtime as much as possible. In such situations, it is often necessary to accommodate small lots of various products, which requires frequent material and color changes. With our product, such resin changes can be performed efficiently, quickly, and at a low cost. [Customer Feedback] ■ Previously, we used crushed materials and wasted an entire day flushing out the previous material during a color change from black to white. After testing 20kg of Asacrin "Upgrade," we completed the color change in just one hour, leading to significant reductions in waste and time. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Case Study of Cleaning Agent (Purge Agent) "Asaclean": Daily Necessities

Introducing how Asaclean is making an impact in the demanding daily goods industry with strict cost requirements and delivery deadlines!

We would like to introduce a case study of the use of "Asaclean," which responds to the demands for mass production and short delivery times of everyday goods through rapid switching of colors and materials resins. It is possible to prevent contamination from different resins and resin degradation in products with high aesthetic quality requirements, such as smartphone cases, which are thin-walled. Additionally, with the new EX grade, it is possible to efficiently clean difficult stains specific to recycled materials while maintaining machine performance, supporting environmentally conscious production activities. [Customer Feedback] ■ Using container recycled materials causes contamination inside the machine, and cleaning is only possible with Asaclean "new EX grade." *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" case study: hot runner

Generally considered difficult, the cleaning of hot runners in resin molding machines can be easily performed in the same way as the material resin!

Thanks to advanced formulation technology, we achieve high cleaning power that effectively removes dirt. Here, we introduce examples of the use of 'Asaclean'. Cleaning the hot runner of an injection molding machine is considered difficult or even impossible. With our HR grade product, it is possible to efficiently remove foreign substances inside the hot runner and change colors and materials. Furthermore, it is non-adhesive to metals, eliminating concerns about residues. 【Customer Feedback】 ■ We struggled with cleaning the hot runner, but using Asaclean's low-residue grade resolved our defects. ■ The color change performance during molding purging with the "HR grade" is quite high, significantly improving color change efficiency. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Cleaning agent for molding machines (purging agent) "Asaclean" case study: T-die extrusion molding

A suitable solution for addressing issues such as fish eyes, gels, and scorch marks that are likely to occur in T-die extrusion for manufacturing film and sheets!

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of "Asaclean," developed for cleaning resin molding machines. In the field of T-die extrusion molding, cleaning the ear part of the die (the end part) is difficult, and specific problems such as the occurrence of fish eyes and gels, as well as burning and scorching that are likely to occur when using barrier layers or recycled materials in the intermediate layer of sheets, frequently arise. Our product has many achievements even in such challenging molding environments. [Customer Feedback] ■ Since the contamination of foreign carbon substances is a problem, disassembly and cleaning of the screw is essential, but using Asaclean "new U-grade" resulted in a reduction of cleaning time by over 40%. We have decided to continue using it in the future. ■ We mold various grades of PE-based resins almost every day, changing the types and ratios of fillers. After each machine stop, we clean the T-die with Asaclean "U-grade" and then carry out disassembly and cleaning of the screw. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
