Underground Rainwater Management Method - Prohibited/Instruction Items Manual <Construction>

To prevent hazards in advance, please be sure to follow the guidelines regarding the underground rainwater management method (Tenrain Scram method)!

This document is an explanation summarizing the prohibitions and instructions related to the construction of the underground rainwater management method (Tenrain Scrum Method). It includes prohibitions after the assembly of the water tank, as well as instructions regarding excavation, foundation work, transportation, earth retention, backfilling, compaction, and paving work. To ensure proper construction and to secure the performance, quality, and safety of the product, please read this carefully and conduct construction management accordingly. 【Contents】 ■ Prohibitions - After the assembly of the water tank ■ Instructions - Compliance - Excavation and foundation work - Transportation - Earth retention, backfilling, compaction, and paving work *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Measures and methods for extending the lifespan of fishing port facilities.

The method of "belly support construction" using underwater concrete, which incorporates precast residual formwork as part of the structure.

<Ensuring Safety and Planning> ■ The residual formwork method allows for construction in stages, eliminating enclosure and enabling quick evacuation actions in emergencies. ■ The residual formwork itself is self-supporting, making it possible to work safely underwater. ■ It is possible to ensure planning for offshore construction, which is easily affected by weather and sea conditions. <Economic Efficiency and Improved Workability> ■ The absence of enclosed spaces improves work efficiency, leading to a reduction in construction time. ■ The lightweight of the products allows for construction using small machinery. ■ In conventional methods, a minimum width of 1.0 m was often required for underwater working space, leading to designs based on stability calculations that exceeded this width. However, with the residual formwork method that does not require enclosed spaces, designs can be made according to stability calculations, reducing the amount of concrete needed. <Simplification of Material Procurement> ■ Due to staged construction, securing ready-mixed concrete is easy and workability is good, allowing for small-scale placements in fishing port construction. ■ Material delivery is limited to the staged construction, reducing yard area and simplifying yard planning.

Reduce flood damage and create rivers with diverse ecosystems!

Keywords: Disaster reduction, Eco-DRR, green infrastructure, flood inundation, evacuation analysis, riparian vegetation, river management, hydraulic experiments, numerical analysis, disaster investigation.

The impact of climate change is causing frequent river flooding. While we are excavating and enlarging rivers, it is also necessary to increase areas with diverse biological communities in rivers and their surrounding watersheds to achieve nature-positive outcomes. Green infrastructure (such as wetlands, rice paddies, and forest belts) also has functions that reduce disaster risk, so I am interested in how to mix natural elements with artificial structures (such as levees and retention basins) to create a good state for both disaster reduction and ecosystems. Additionally, focusing on the Arakawa River basin, I am conducting research to clarify the changes in flood risk associated with flood control projects in Saitama Prefecture and to accurately estimate flood hazard areas and evacuation timing. I am also researching countermeasures to delay levee breaches caused by infiltration and overtopping within levees and foundational ground, as well as considering the impact of river flow on levee erosion and the interaction between river vegetation and water flow on the long-term maintenance of river channels, all while exploring how to create diverse biological habitats.

Comparison of the Piping Magnetite Method with Other Methods

Comparison with typical water supply pipe deterioration countermeasures! We introduce the duration of effectiveness and issues.

The "Piping Magnetite Method" involves installing BW in the water supply pipes, which slows down the oxidation rate, transforming red rust into black rust and repairing the deteriorated areas. This method can also be applied to leaking pipes and has a semi-permanent effect. The "Piping Replacement Work" is an immediate and fundamental solution since the pipes are new, but it is very costly and generates a large amount of waste. The "Lining Method" damages the pipes, making a second application impossible. The "Magnetic Device Installation" has issues such as being ineffective at low flow rates. In addition, we also provide materials that cover all topics. 【Features of the Piping Magnetite Method】 ■ Low cost and short construction period ■ Effects extend to drainage pipes ■ Improved cleaning power, antioxidant power, and antibacterial power ■ Effect measurement device allows for FS *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. *The section "Trigger for Interest" displayed during the PDF download is shown by the AI of Ipros Co., Ltd.
