The CZ375x is a magnetic coreless current sensor that incorporates Hall elements. By using high-sensitivity Hall elements, it can accurately measure a wide current range of ±115A to ±225A, which is difficult to achieve with typical coreless current sensors. Continuous current flow is also possible up to 100Arms. Therefore, it contributes to "increased output capacity." Additionally, through its unique packaging technology, it realizes a low primary conductor resistance of "0.27mΩ" and high insulation with a creepage/clearance distance of ≧8mm. This significantly reduces heat generation during current application compared to shunt resistors, and eliminates the need for a primary side power supply or amplifier for insulation, allowing overcurrent detection with just the IC.
