The gear pump is breaking down immediately, and it's a problem. It can handle high temperature, slurry, and high viscosity at a low cost!

We received a consultation from Company J, a major steel manufacturer, stating that "the gear pump breaks down immediately, and we are in trouble." Upon checking the fluid, we found that they were transferring high-temperature (90°C) high-viscosity oil with the gear pump. Additionally, they mentioned that a small amount of slurry (iron powder) inevitably gets mixed in, leading us to conclude that the slurry was causing the gear pump to fail. [Case Study of Major Convenience Store Bread Factory] Sanitary Air Diaphragm Pump

We transported custard cream using our pump.

As the quality and variety of convenience store bread continue to increase year by year, production factories are required to ensure accurate and efficient operations while also considering the "ease of work" for their employees. Due to the challenges of efficient production and reducing work load, we received inquiries from major convenience store bread factories, and they adopted A2's pump for the process of transferring custard. Since custard cream is transferred at low temperatures and is almost solid, we selected the sanitary air diaphragm pump "SB series" as the transfer pump. Although the initial self-priming took a bit of time, it generally demonstrated satisfactory transfer capacity for the customer, and its lightweight and compact design were well received, with easy disassembly and cleaning being highly praised. ● Self-priming and pumping of high-viscosity slurry We received an inquiry from a major chemical company, Company S, regarding the transfer of ceramic slurry. Ceramic slurry is a high-viscosity liquid with particle inclusion, and this time, self-priming capability and pumping capability were also part of the evaluation. We proposed the ADD model air diaphragm pump, which was used on-site. The evaluation was very positive, and the on-site personnel were convinced, leading to its adoption. ● Key factors for adoption by a major chemical company The key factors for adoption were: 1. Initial costs are lower compared to other companies. 2. Flexible response as a manufacturer to special specifications. 3. Consumables (such as diaphragms) are also cheaper compared to other companies. 4. High evaluation of transfer and pumping capabilities with the demo unit. Delivery Case: Transfer of Adhesive (High Viscosity Liquid)

I want to transfer the adhesive from the one-gallon can so that women can work too!

●Improvement for Women to Work We received a consultation from Company B, a major manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture, stating, "We have been lifting adhesive (in a 20-liter can) to refill it at the top of the tank, but is there a way to transfer it using a pump?" The adhesive is a high-viscosity liquid containing ethyl acetate and toluene, and since it was in an explosion-proof designated area, we proposed an air diaphragm pump of the ADD type in stainless steel (SUS) specification. Given that the viscosity of the adhesive was 12,000 CP, we selected a 25A diameter to ensure a comfortable margin. The transfer was completed without any issues. Subsequently, to reduce operational noise, we added a higher-grade silencer, and we also custom-built a mounting frame (SUS) for the pump. ●Meeting User Needs We received positive feedback from the user, stating, "It was very helpful due to the company's policy of enabling women to work." Additionally, we proposed and adopted a dedicated hose fixing device because it was dangerous for the hose to come off when inserting it into the 20-liter can. Once the adhesive transfer is completed, the next step is to transfer the next 20-liter can, so we made it possible to change the hose with minimal contact with the chemicals.

【Case Study】Small-scale Transfer of Polymer Coagulants

The viscosity is high and cannot be transferred!

● A handheld pump for drums cannot transfer high-viscosity liquids! We received an inquiry from a chemical manufacturer who wanted to transfer a polymer coagulant (diluted). After the chemical manufacturer filled three types (three compartments) of chemicals into a PE tank, the user was to transfer the coagulant from each chemical solution, as shown in the photo. They also expressed a desire to transfer the liquids simply, without large-scale equipment. Normally, a handheld pump used for drum containers would be selected for standard chemical solutions, but in this case, the high viscosity made it impossible to transfer with a regular handheld pump. ● A compact pump that can self-prime and transfer chemical liquids The SN model is an electric diaphragm type with a flow rate of 50L/min, which is sufficient for small-scale dispensing, and it can run dry. It can suck up the chemical solution down to the bottom. Additionally, the advantages of the diaphragm type include its ability to handle high viscosity and slurries, making it flexible enough to accommodate various chemical liquids that traditional handheld pumps cannot handle. It also offers a price advantage compared to handheld pumps, leading to its adoption.

【Delivery Case】Zero risk of chemical splashes

It is possible to replenish the neutralizing agent without opening the tank lid!

●Refilling without opening the tank lid Typically, the addition of neutralizing agents such as caustic soda or sulfuric acid into the chemical tank of a pH automatic neutralization device was primarily done manually or with handheld insertion pumps. In recent years, due to an increased awareness of safety, more customers have requested "keyed" tank inlets. The issue that arises is the hassle of having to "unlock" each time chemicals are refilled. To address this, H2 has installed a self-priming diaphragm pump onto a PVC tank, with the discharge side piped to the tank, allowing the suction hose to be inserted into a polycan or pail, enabling refilling simply by turning on a switch. ●No dangerous chemicals splashing around! The advantage is that dangerous chemicals can be refilled without opening the keyed inlet. There is no longer a problem of where to store the handheld pump after use. Since the discharge side is piped, the risk of the "discharge hose coming off the tank and causing a large amount of chemicals to splash around," which could be alarming with a handheld pump, has been eliminated. This is a safety measure that was previously unimaginable with conventional self-priming pumps.

[Case Study] Pouring rust preventive oil in a surface treatment factory

Powerful self-priming ability and pumping capability!

●We want to reduce the amount of rust preventive oil. We received an inquiry from N.P. Company, a major surface treatment manufacturer, asking if there is a good pump for reducing the amount of rust preventive oil. The best method for use is to draw up the rust preventive oil and spray it with a gun nozzle, so we adopted the self-priming diaphragm pump model SN. When using a general-purpose pump with a gun nozzle to flow and stop the fluid, the problems that arise are: "the internal pressure continues to rise, causing blowout troubles from the piping" and "additional equipment like pressure switches becomes necessary, leading to high costs." ●With powerful self-priming and pumping capabilities, it can be used just by hanging it on the wall. The H2 SN model has a built-in relief valve, so even with frequent ON-OFF operations using the gun nozzle, it circulates within the pump and keeps the internal pressure below a certain level. The self-priming capability of the SN model is high, and this time it was delivered as a wall-mounted set, allowing fluid transfer using the gun nozzle simply by inserting the suction hose into the rust preventive oil. There are no initial costs for construction, and the person in charge commented, "If we were to try to do the same thing, it would normally cost 3 to 5 times more than H2's proposal."

[Delivery Example] Battery-powered unit for urea water (AdBlue)

Operates for 150 minutes on a full charge. That's about 3000 liters of water supply!

●I want to supply water in a place without power. We received a request from a construction machinery manufacturer to "create a unit for transferring AdBlue." Construction machinery (such as cranes) is expected to be used in locations without power, and there is a request for a battery-operated transfer unit. We proposed using the electric diaphragm pump model SS, which has a proven track record with urea water, housed together with the battery and nozzle inside a box. ● Operates for 150 minutes on a full charge. This equates to approximately 3000 liters of water supply. The design ensures that the battery, gun nozzle, suction hose, and discharge hose all fit inside the box. The pump specifications allow for a transfer rate of 20L/min over a distance of 20m, and it is equipped with a heater to accommodate use in remote areas. It also serves to prevent the freezing of AdBlue. With a full charge, it can operate for 150 minutes, allowing for the transfer of approximately 3000 liters of urea water. (DC24V) Additionally, charging can be done using the included charger, which can connect to DC12V or 24V, or to a 100V outlet for charging, making it a multi-charge type.

[Delivery Example] Transport of Viscous Slurry (Water and Oil-Free Explosion-Proof Specification)

I want to transport a viscous slurry in a harsh environment! Since exposing the resin is not allowed, we custom-made a cover.

We received a request from a major chemical company stating, "We would like to send a fluid mixture of solid matter at around 2000 cp (30% wt)." Upon further inquiry, they specified that the equipment must be explosion-proof, treated to prevent water and oil contamination, and require contamination-free conditions for product use. Additionally, they requested that the wetted parts be made of SUS or only PTFE if using resin, which was quite stringent. In response to these requirements, we selected the "SB-75" sanitary air diaphragm pump, and for the high-viscosity slurry, we proposed using SUS316 for the ball. While we selected PTFE for the pump body material, it was specified that exposed parts were not acceptable, so we custom-made a cover to encase everything in SUS. Since the piping connection was to be a 40 AJIS flange, we also manufactured an adapter to convert from a helix to a JIS flange. A steel company in Hokkaido contacted us, stating, "We purchased an air diaphragm pump from Company Y, but it stopped immediately, and we are in trouble." We responded to their inquiry. Upon further hearing their details, they wanted to transfer a liquid with a viscosity of about 3000 cp at a rate of approximately 25 L/min from a drum. The discharge was to be horizontal for 2 meters and vertical upward for about 1 meter (with a resin filter in between), while the suction side was horizontal for 1 meter. Given these conditions, our air diaphragm pump had sufficient track record, so we lent them a demo unit, which performed well, leading to an order. As a result, they later placed an additional order for two more of the same pumps, making it a highly satisfactory case.
