【Case Study】Recovery of Sludge from Coolant Tank

Collecting waste oil like a vacuum cleaner! Designed with a cart for easier operation, considering the maneuverability for the workers.

At the factory you requested, coolant sludge was collected and cleaned approximately once a quarter using a vacuum truck, but the quality degradation caused by the sludge before the vacuum truck arrived was a problem. Therefore, you consulted about whether there was a simple pump that could be used for collection, and we proposed the air diaphragm ADD type (cart specification). This product is convenient when you want to operate coolant sludge from various locations within the factory with a single pump. The cart itself can hold a drum, and it is equipped with an air three-point set, hose fittings, etc., considering the ease of handling for the operators. [Case Study] - Delivery: Aichi Prefecture automotive parts manufacturer - Application: Cleaning of coolant tanks - Model: ADD-15-PP-DS (cart specification) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Separation and Recovery of Floating Oil from Bonding Liquid

The material is custom-made with all SUS specifications! The float that floats in the bond tank is also all SUS.

We received an inquiry from a major surface treatment factory asking if it is possible to recover and separate the oil and sludge floating in high-temperature bonding liquid. They mentioned that there is a simple device already in place, but they are dissatisfied with the recovery efficiency, so they are considering an upgrade. To enable recovery and separation in high-temperature bonding liquid, we decided to custom-manufacture our ADB model in all stainless steel (SUS) specifications. The float to be placed in the bonding tank is also made entirely of stainless steel. We selected the ADD model air diaphragm pump in stainless steel specifications. [Case Study] ■ Delivery: Major surface treatment factory ■ Application: Separation and recovery of floating oil in bonding liquid ■ Model: ADB-15-SS (SUS specification) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Delivery Example] Transfer of 10,000 mPa·s high-viscosity paint

It is possible to transport high-viscosity slurry liquids! Here are examples of air diaphragm pump deliveries.

A major paint manufacturer consulted us about wanting to transfer high-viscosity liquid from a stirring tank. Based on the conditions of "high-viscosity paint with a viscosity of about 10,000 CP," "a horizontal draw of 3 meters from the tank is required," and "transfer to the production machine after self-priming," we proposed the ADD type air diaphragm pump. After delivery to the user, we received a call saying it "doesn't suck." Upon discussing the situation, we found that the conditions for the liquid, air supply, and installation were all fine, and we were puzzled as to why it wasn't working. However, from the installation photos provided by the customer, it became clear that the suction inlet diameter was restricted. The pump diameter is 15A, but it was narrowed down to 9A. When we requested the use of a hose with an inner diameter of φ15, it began to self-prime without any issues, and we received words of gratitude. [Case Study] ■ Delivery: Paint Manufacturer ■ Application: Horizontal transfer and pumping of high-viscosity paint ■ Model: ADD-15-SS (Air Diaphragm Pump) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【Delivery Example】Cart Unit with Compressor

Introducing a case study of delivering urea water in large volumes over a distance of 30 meters using an air diaphragm pump!

We received an inquiry from a major chemical plant regarding the desire to transfer urea water from the ground to a ship at a port where the ship docks. The specifications requested were: "transfer rate of 200L/min," "self-priming and resistant to dry running," "lifting height of 30m," and "to be portable, with the compressor mounted on a cart." In response, we delivered the air diaphragm pump "ADD-40-PP." Since long-distance transfer via hose was anticipated, we also included a pulsation dampener in the unit. We selected a compressor tailored to the customer's specifications and delivered it as a complete unit. [Case Study] ■ Delivery: A certain chemical plant ■ Application: Transfer of urea water from the port to the ship ■ Model: ADD-40-PP (Air Diaphragm Pump) + Compressor Unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Pump Delivery Case] High-Temperature Slurry Mixed Viscous Liquid (Oil)

The gear pump is breaking down immediately, and it's a problem. It can handle high temperature, slurry, and high viscosity at a low cost!

We received a consultation from Company J, a major steel manufacturer, stating that "the gear pump breaks down immediately, and we are in trouble." Upon checking the fluid, we found that they were transferring high-temperature (90°C) high-viscosity oil with the gear pump. Additionally, they mentioned that a small amount of slurry (iron powder) inevitably gets mixed in, leading us to conclude that the slurry was causing the gear pump to fail. Therefore, we proposed the "Air Diaphragm Pump ADD type," and after they used a demo unit, it was adopted. 【Features of our diaphragm pump】 ■ Self-priming ■ Capable of pressure delivery ■ Can transfer slurry and viscous liquids ■ Suitable for high-temperature fluids *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Major Convenience Store Bread Factory] Sanitary Air Diaphragm Pump

We transported custard cream using our pump.

As the quality and variety of convenience store bread continue to increase year by year, production factories are required to ensure accurate and efficient operations while also considering the "ease of work" for their employees. Due to the challenges of efficient production and reducing work load, we received inquiries from major convenience store bread factories, and they adopted A2's pump for the process of transferring custard. Since custard cream is transferred at low temperatures and is almost solid, we selected the sanitary air diaphragm pump "SB series" as the transfer pump. Although the initial self-priming took a bit of time, it generally demonstrated satisfactory transfer capacity for the customer, and its lightweight and compact design were well received, with easy disassembly and cleaning being highly praised. In this document, we visited the factory where our pump was actually adopted and inquired about the challenges and background of the request. For more details, please download the document and check it. [Overview] ■ Delivery: Major convenience store bread manufacturing factory in Saitama Prefecture ■ Application: Transfer of custard cream (with control) ■ Model: Sanitary diaphragm pump SB type

[Delivery Case] Transfer of Custard Cream

I want to transfer custard cream! Using a non-contact sensor, ON-OFF based on liquid level.

We received a request from a major convenience store bread manufacturing factory stating, "We would like to transport custard cream." Initially, we proposed only a pump, but the order expanded to include liquid level control, as the system would stop when the hopper at the destination reached full liquid level. Since the custard cream is nearly solid due to low-temperature transport, we selected the sanitary air diaphragm pump SB series for the transport pump. Non-contact sensors were used for liquid level control, monitoring and controlling the custard cream's liquid level from two points. The lightweight and compact design was well-received, and it was praised for being easy to disassemble and clean. Additionally, we were delighted to hear that the fact that "even though we are a pump manufacturer, we can handle everything" was a decisive factor for choosing H2. We would be grateful if customers considering stringent fluid transport could contact us. [Case Details] ■ Delivery: Major convenience store bread manufacturing factory in Saitama Prefecture ■ Application: Transport of custard cream (with control) ■ Model: Sanitary diaphragm pump SB type *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【Delivery Case】Transportation of Cosmetic Intermediate Raw Materials

The viscosity of intermediate raw materials for cosmetics is 300 cp! We propose the SB series of sanitary diaphragm pumps.

We received a request from a cosmetics manufacturing factory in the northern Kanto region, stating, "We would like to transport intermediate raw materials for cosmetics." They mentioned that as long as the transportation could be done roughly, it would be fine, so we proposed the SB series of sanitary diaphragm pumps. The viscosity of the intermediate raw materials for cosmetics was said to be 300 cp, but there were no issues with the transportation. Although this unit is treated as a backup, they appreciated its lightweight design and high cost performance. We have demo units of the SB series sanitary diaphragm pumps available, so customers who would like to "try it out" are welcome to contact us. 【Case Details】 ■ Delivery: Cosmetics factory in northern Kanto ■ Application: Transportation of intermediate raw materials for cosmetics ■ Model: Sanitary diaphragm pump SB-30 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

【Delivery Case】Transfer of Seasoning Liquid

Introducing examples of cases where fluids such as seasoning liquids, hot water, and tomato ketchup can be transported!

We received an inquiry from Company A, which manufactures commercial food products (such as egg products and sushi ingredients), regarding their desire to "transfer seasoning liquid to the kettle" and to "simplify the process of loading into the hopper on a newly established line." The fluids involved include seasoning liquids (soy sauce, sugar, oil, etc.), hot water (60 degrees), and tomato ketchup (high viscosity). After lending a demo unit, they decided to implement the sanitary air diaphragm pump "SB-125." Initially, they requested specifications such as a power supply voltage of 100V and a cart with casters to mount the pump. However, we promoted the advantages of air drive (lightweight and easy to operate by just connecting it), and they were satisfied with the demo unit. After delivery, due to process-related requirements, it was necessary to install a magnetic filter, for which we created a mounting base. We have received feedback that the system is operating smoothly. 【Case Details】 ■ Delivery: Major commercial food manufacturing factory ■ Application: Transfer of seasoning liquid ■ Model: Sanitary air diaphragm pump SB-125 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Transfer of Pastry Dough

We will introduce a case where it became possible to transfer a dough with a viscosity similar to custard cream through two tests!

We received a request from a Western confectionery manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture, stating that they would like to transfer a baking dough with a viscosity slightly firmer than custard cream. They wanted to suck in a soft dough and transfer it to a hopper approximately 1.5 meters high, so we proposed the sanitary diaphragm pump "SB Series." In the first demonstration, we selected the "SB-75," but due to the viscosity and environmental conditions, it could not effectively suck the dough. Therefore, we conducted a second demonstration using the next model up, the "SB-125." This time, we were able to transfer the dough without any issues, and they decided to adopt it. Since the dough contains a lot of butter and does not use emulsifiers (additives), a separation phenomenon occurred when passing through the pump (narrow passage). However, we measured the specific gravity of the finished dough and the dough after passing through the pump, and they were able to adjust by whipping it to lighten the specific gravity of the dough. [Case Details] ■ Client: Western confectionery manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture ■ Application: Transfer to hopper ■ Model: SB-125 (Sanitary diaphragm pump) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Sulfuric acid dilution device

We will generate sulfuric acid at your company to contribute to reducing sulfuric acid purchasing costs.

In factories that purchase 75% and 50% sulfuric acid, we have equipment that can produce diluted sulfuric acid from 98% sulfuric acid at our own facility. Sulfuric acid is used for many applications, but it is also a chemical that is difficult to handle during dilution due to the enormous heat generated. Our sulfuric acid dilution system is designed to meet the requirements for high precision (specific gravity accuracy ±0.005) and corrosion resistance in operations involving the mixing/dilution of concentrated sulfuric acid. Since all dilution operations are performed inline, there are no environmental pollution issues caused by liquid fume generation. In particular, our sulfuric acid dilution system employs a circulation method that minimizes scale buildup in the heat exchanger, allowing for the production of stable concentration diluted sulfuric acid. Additionally, the dilution temperature does not exceed the boiling point, resulting in low-temperature dilution operations that extend the equipment's lifespan. 【Features】 - High precision and long lifespan achieved through circulation dilution method - Use of corrosion-resistant carbon heat exchangers - Fully automated operation possible We also conduct process validation and renewal work for aging dilution systems. Please feel free to contact us.
