Ultrasonic testing gel wedge
Introduction of shape-following ultrasonic testing gel wedges (delay lines) modeled after concave, convex, and curved surfaces.
● Flaw detection is possible with a dry coupling. ● Scanning is possible with a small amount of water (like a mist spray). ● Can be used for flaw detection on test specimens that are not suitable for liquid application. ● Probes are manufactured to match the shape of array probes to conventional type transducers. ● Manufactured to fit the shape of the test specimen. ● The use of gel sheets allows for the propagation of transverse waves within the test. ● Material that does not contain moisture (non-hygroscopic and does not dry out).
