[Use Case] Pig Farming
Examples of utilization in pig farming! Heat stress negatively affects the reproductive performance of pigs.
We would like to introduce a case study on the use of heat insulation sheets in pig farming. The environmental temperatures in tropical and subtropical regions, or in areas with summer climates comparable to these, are not lethal to pigs, but they can lead to stunted growth in fattening pigs (meat pigs) and a decrease in birth rates among breeding pigs. Heat stress also adversely affects the reproductive performance of pigs. Our heat insulation sheets reflect 97% of radiant heat, preventing the accumulation of solar heat. Please consider them for a more comfortable breeding environment. **Heat Stress in Pig Farming** - When temperatures exceed 27°C, sows are affected: - Estrus is disrupted - Delayed estrus - Decreased conception rates - Embryo mortality in the early stages - When temperatures exceed 29°C, there is a decrease in sperm production and quality in boars. - If such conditions persist for 4 to 6 weeks, even if the situation improves afterward, some effects will remain, and it may take about 6 weeks for the impacts to completely disappear. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
