[FA Site Improvement Case] Prevention of Defects in the Inspection Process
Quality Improvement: Managing time in the inspection process to contribute to the reduction of defective products.
We will introduce a case study of improvements in the FA (Factory Automation) field proposed by Patlite. Inspections were conducted on the manufacturing line for parts to ensure quality before shipment. However, due to the rush of the operators during the inspection process, the inspections were neglected, leading to the outflow of defective products. To address this, the layered information display light "LA6" was introduced. By using the smart mode "Time Trigger Type" as a timer, we established a time management system for the inspection process, allowing for the next product inspection to begin after a set period. [Case Study] ■ Improvement Issues - We want to eliminate the shipment of defective products. ■ Proposal - By using the smart mode "Time Trigger Type," the display light is utilized as a timer. - Inspections of one product are conducted during the timer display. - When the blue light is fully lit, the inspection is complete, and the next product inspection begins. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓
