We will introduce an example of improvement in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. In the outdoor unit assembly line, to visualize the assembly tact time, we removed the conveyor of the manufacturing line and replaced it with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles). Furthermore, by equipping the layered information display light "LA6," which can display the working time of each assembly process, we raise the awareness of tact time among workers and standardize the assembly speed. In a manufacturing factory facing the challenge of not knowing which drainage tank has exceeded its water level unless it checks each time when a large rotating light signals that a certain drainage volume has been reached, we proposed visualizing the water storage levels using the layered information display light "LA6 model." We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. In a work environment where the amount of sand in the hopper is checked visually, there are risks associated with the confirmation process, and there are instances where sand may overflow. We proposed the "LA6 type" layered information display light. The "LA6 type" can express the amount of sand in terms of layers and colors freely when combined with sensors. In case of overflow or other dangerous situations, it alerts users with a particularly noticeable lighting pattern, such as all lights on. Now, it has become possible to monitor overflow along with managing remaining quantities from the office. At a certain food packaging factory, sterilizing solution was being injected in an outdoor separate building, but there were frequent instances of not noticing when the tank ran out of solution. Therefore, we introduced our wireless control unit and a load information display light. This allowed for visualization of the remaining amount in the separate office building, enabling timely replenishment before running out of the solution.
