Two-beam infrared sensor suitable for installation outdoors and indoors, ideal for simple uses such as home security.

■Simultaneous Two-Stage Beam Interruption Method By adopting an AND method that does not trigger an alarm unless both upper and lower infrared beams are interrupted simultaneously, false alarms caused by momentary interruptions with time delays, such as birds flying in or leaves falling, are significantly reduced. ■Modulation Frequency Switching Function This feature is effective when using multiple infrared sensors for linear surveillance or multi-stage monitoring. By switching the modulation frequency of the infrared pulse beam between high and low, it is possible to avoid bypassing. ■Home Security It can also be used for home security applications such as windows and fence boundaries, as well as for simpler specifications. ■Wide Beam Pitch The beam pitch is set to approximately 240mm, which greatly reduces false alarms caused by birds or falling leaves. ■Detection Response Time Adjustment The detection response speed can be adjusted with a volume control from 0.05 to 0.7 seconds. By setting a longer detection response time, it becomes less likely to trigger false alarms from falling leaves. However, be cautious as setting it too slow may result in failing to detect humans. ■Others ● The detection range is 15m outdoors and 30m indoors. ● Horizontal adjustment of the infrared light axis is possible (vertical adjustment is not). ● Wide light beam allows for easy axis adjustment.

It is capable of detecting the absolute amount of energy (temperature).
