We have developed a recycling technology for cross-linked plastics and cross-linked rubber, which previously had no treatment methods other than energy recovery through incineration or landfill, using "TEX." By equipping the system with a screen changer at the front, we can filter out debris that mixes with the crushed material. Additionally, the filter can be easily replaced during operation, allowing for continuous operation. Typically, power transmission cables are insulated with super clean cross-linked polyethylene around the conductor, but in ultra-high voltage transmission (about 500,000 volts), charge concentration occurs in the insulating part, leading to the problem of cable failure during transmission. To prevent this, a semiconductive material that slightly discharges electricity inside and outside the insulator is used as a cushioning layer. The "HTM-type tandem two-axis kneading extruder" is a two-axis kneading extruder that can handle high-concentration masterbatches and rigid PVC, among others. It achieves high kneading performance thanks to the high-speed rotor of the Banbury mixer type. After kneading and vacuum degassing in the two-axis extruder, it is extruded using a separately controlled single-axis extruder, which prevents over-kneading and enables even lower temperature extrusion compared to our conventional products.
