Pro Manual! How to Implement Profitable Management Reforms for Executives and Management Teams

Publishing marketing strategies for the manufacturing industry! We aim to transform from subcontracting to a contract manufacturing service business.

This document introduces ways to promote management reforms that yield profits for small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses. Not only in Japan, but there are still technologies in Japan that can differentiate on a global scale. In small and medium-sized manufacturing, even at a small scale, what to produce becomes extremely important for manufacturing specialized products. The market must be small enough that it is large enough to generate profits, yet small enough that it is difficult for large corporations to enter. A superb marketing capability and product planning ability, which could be called a super-niche strategy, are required. [Contents] ■ Measures to escape from a subcontracting structure ■ How to create a business plan that generates profits for small and medium-sized manufacturing ■ Transitioning from order processing to contract manufacturing services ■ Marketing strategies for manufacturing ■ Digital transformation (DX) for small and medium-sized manufacturing *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Kobayashi Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Utilizing "SolidCAM" and "i-Machining" in the mold industry! Introducing case studies.

We would like to introduce the case of Kobayashi Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which has implemented SolidCAM. The company, which deals with the design and manufacturing of plastic molds and injection molded products, had already adopted 3D CAD/CAM from other companies. However, to respond to further price competition, they introduced "SolidCAM i-Machining" in the summer of 2013. As a 3D CAM, it has fewer input items and is easy to operate, producing good paths, making it very suitable for first-time users. Additionally, the tool life is excellent, which is appreciated along with the reduction in processing time. 【Case Study】 ■ Kobayashi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa, Tokyo) ■ Products: Design and manufacturing of plastic molds and injection molded products ■ Implemented Product: SolidCAM i-Machining ■ Implementation Period: Summer 2013 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Busbar mold design and manufacturing - Essential molds for automotive parts production.

Molds are important for automobiles! We have numerous achievements in busbar mold design and manufacturing!

To make a car, many parts are needed. Most automotive parts, such as the body, steering, crankshaft, doors, and wheels, are manufactured using molds. Steel sheets for the body and non-ferrous metal parts use press molds. In fact, many products made by pressing are automotive parts. *You can view the detailed content of the column through the related links. For more information, please feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] Reducing Waste in Production

A case where effects were obtained that not only improved cost aspects but also enhanced productivity and flexibility in process design!

We would like to introduce a case where our proposal led to the reduction of unnecessary processes and resources related to materials and plating treatment. As background, in the insert molding and assembly processes, we had to cut and discard part of the terminals to secure the necessary workspace. As a result, despite the terminals not being used, costs for materials and plating treatment were incurred, leading to higher manufacturing and plating costs than necessary. Therefore, we proposed a method to transfer the terminals to a different transport band after plating and re-crimp them in a manner suitable for the conditions of the subsequent process. This significantly contributed to the reduction of manufacturing and plating costs. **Features** - **Challenges** - Costs for materials and plating treatment were incurred despite the terminals not being used. - **Effects** - Achieved approximately 40% cost reduction compared to conventional methods. - Reduction of unnecessary processes and resources related to materials and plating treatment. - Enabled flexible responses to space constraints in insert molding and assembly processes. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Design and manufacturing of molds with a smooth cross-sectional shape that does not break even when the thread comes into contact.

We provide high-quality molds with short delivery times, backed by manufacturing technology for textile machine parts.

Our company has been involved in the production of textile machine parts for many years. Since a smooth cross-sectional shape that does not cut the thread is required for textile machine parts, our unique mold technology has been developed. Currently, we provide this technology to various fields, including machine tool parts and mounting machine parts. By manufacturing complex three-dimensional shapes using die casting and machining through press processing, we can achieve reduced lead times and lower production costs. Additionally, by developing and manufacturing automation systems and automatic machines in-house, we can offer small-lot, diverse production with short delivery times. 【Features】 - Possible to reduce lead times and production costs - In-house integrated production system from mold to press - Proposing process designs suitable for customer product requirements *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
