Collision prevention mirror introduction case: Feel safe in narrow hallways with continuous corners using mirrors!

Hazard prevention! Even narrow corridors with continuous turns can now be navigated safely. If someone is coming, you can see them with the mirror!

We would like to introduce the feedback from Ajinomoto Communications, who implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… In our office, there is a corridor that is cranked and has poor visibility. Previously, I was worried about colliding with someone, so I would peek in to check if anyone was coming before passing through. Since installing the mirror (FF mirror corridor), I can tell when someone is coming without having to peek. The sense of security provided by the mirror is completely different. [Mirror Introduction Case] Preventing collisions at the bottom of the stairs!

This mirror is very nice. You can check for people coming from the other side of the hallway while going down the stairs.

We would like to introduce the feedback from Asahi Kasei Kawasaki Manufacturing Plant, who implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I often move between the first and second floors for work, and there were many times when I almost collided with someone coming from the other side of the corridor right after descending the stairs, which was quite alarming. When I consulted with the safety department, they provided a solution with a mirror. This mirror allows me to see across the corridor from the stairs, and it also enables me to see people coming down from the top of the stairs from the corridor, which is very helpful. Safety measures and monitoring mirrors introduction case studies for the safety of the elderly!

Near-miss measures and collision prevention. A design that blends into the environment! We received feedback saying, "It is helpful for collision prevention!"

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at the Inaho Nursing Care Health Facility. At this facility, mirrors were installed in corridors that create blind spots for the safety of the elderly residents. They are very convenient and reassuring for staff when they are in a hurry due to emergency calls. "We couldn't install conventional mirrors as it felt like we were monitoring the residents. However, 'Rami' blends seamlessly with our facility's interior and is completely unobtrusive," was the feedback we received. [Case Study] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Customer Feedback: Blends seamlessly with our facility's interior and is completely unobtrusive. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety measures case study: Installing mirrors for smoother movement!

The anxiety of conflict has been resolved, and over time, it has become a "convenient tool"! Case studies of implementation in nursing and welfare facilities.

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Sompo no Ie Higashikawaguchi. At this facility, there were concerns about potential collision accidents at the L-shaped junctions on the first and second floors, as well as at the T-shaped junction in front of the elevator on the second floor. To address this, we introduced the 'Rami' mirrors, which are suitable for collision prevention and near-miss situations. "We found that once the mirrors were installed, movement became smoother, and we only realized their convenience after using them. The staff are also developing the habit of looking at the mirrors more and more," was the feedback we received. [Case Study] ■ Products Used: Rami, Rami Dome ■ Customer Feedback: Movement became smoother after installing the mirrors. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Collision prevention implementation case: The worry of collisions has been eliminated with two mirrors!

We will introduce a case where the installation of two mirrors at an L-shaped intersection eliminated the worry of collisions!

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Passage (for one side)' handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Tobu Energy Management. The L-shaped intersection leading to the plant within the facility was a concern, as carts carrying equipment and other items were frequently passing through, raising worries about potential collisions. To address this, mirrors were installed. After installation, people coming from blind spots on both sides of the L-shaped intersection could see each other, allowing for safe passage. Additionally, mirrors were installed in areas within the plant where pedestrians were in blind spots. The installation method for this product is simply "stick it on," making it easy to implement and allowing for immediate results. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Mirror Implementation Case] Ensuring Safe Passage for Forklifts!

We would like to introduce a case where blind spots have been eliminated, allowing forklifts to pass through safely! (Totez Maintenance)

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, at Tōtetsu Maintenance. There were blind spots in the warehouse where forklifts could potentially collide, so we decided to install mirrors. Since there was no need to see the upper area, we chose our product that provides a 180° view of the lower area. When there were no mirrors, we had to proceed slowly and visually check the blind spots. Now, by looking at the mirrors, we can predict that "there are no forks in the direction of travel and none are approaching," allowing for safe passage. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case study of safety mirror introduction: Strengthening of internal safety measures has been achieved!

Strengthening safety at corners! It can be installed at eye level, so blind spots naturally come into view! (Nippon Steel, Setouchi Steelworks)

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Passage (for left and right use)' handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Nippon Steel's Setouchi Steelworks. The mirrors that were previously installed at blind corners were positioned too high, making them easy to overlook. With our product, which offers a wide-angle view on a flat surface, it can be installed at a lower position, naturally drawing attention (installed at three locations: FT46×3). This has strengthened safety measures. We are also considering additional measures for other areas that require attention. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Reducing blind spots on forklift travel paths to ensure safety!

The decisive factor is Komi's track record and the free rental system! Reducing blind spots on forklift travel paths to ensure safety! (Paramount Bed)

We would like to introduce a case where our "Forklift Exit Mirror" was implemented at Paramount Bed Co., Ltd. When the new line was put into operation, we considered accident prevention measures to reduce blind spots in the forklift travel paths and ensure safety, which was deemed effective, leading to its installation in various locations within the facility. Additionally, the product and "FF Mirror" have been installed in other factories as well. The decision to implement was influenced by seeing various companies using the product on Komi's website and the availability of free sample loans. Due to the diverse installation points, we have devised our own mounting brackets to ensure the mirrors are positioned for optimal visibility. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Reducing Stress During Cargo Transportation!

The stress of transporting luggage has significantly decreased! A case where blind spot situations have become clear (Tama Medical PFI).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirror "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, was implemented at Tama Medical PFI. In the hospital corridors, large carts carrying heavy loads often pass through, so those transporting items have developed the habit of carefully pushing their carts while being mindful not to collide, moving "slowly and cautiously." Since installing this product, they can proceed with an understanding of the situation around the corners, providing a sense of security. "We cannot say that the speed of transportation has increased just because we have installed the mirror, but the stress during transportation has significantly decreased, and we have received positive feedback from the staff," was the feedback we received. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effects - Ability to proceed with an understanding of the situation around corners - Significant reduction in stress when transporting items *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] There is no longer any worry about colliding with patients.

Everyone should be aware that 'the corner is dangerous'! A case where there is no longer a concern about colliding with patients (Tokyo Women's Medical University East Medical Center).

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's "FF Mirror Passage (for left and right)" was implemented at Tokyo Women's Medical University East Medical Center. At this hospital, there has been an increase in people who proceed straight ahead without paying attention to their surroundings at corners, which has raised safety concerns. In response to requests from the staff, our product was installed next to the busy nurse station. As a result, everyone now looks at the mirror and proceeds with awareness. Additionally, since it is an orthopedic department, there are many patients who have undergone foot surgery and elderly individuals who are prone to fractures from falls, but the worry of collisions has been eliminated. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Passage (for left and right) ■ Effect: No longer worried about colliding with patients *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Safety checks can now be performed with mirrors.

Ensuring safety with mirrors! Introducing case studies of 'FF Mirror Corridor' and 'Rami' (Tokyo Medical University Hospital)

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at Tokyo Medical University Hospital. At this hospital, they were creating data for about 400 patients at peak times, and with stretchers and nurses all moving quickly, there were concerns about safety. To address this, we installed the "FF Mirror Corridor" at the corners where stretchers turn and "Rami" directly in front of the doors of each room in the radiology department. As a result, we received feedback saying, "We can confirm safety with the mirrors, and now we feel very secure." [Case Overview] ■ Products Used: FF Mirror Corridor (one-sided) / Rami ■ Effect: Safety confirmation with mirrors *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's mirror "Lami-Dome" was implemented at Azumino Red Cross Hospital. Patients using assistive devices such as IV stands and crutches face particular dangers when moving. To protect the safety of those moving around the hospital, we installed our product on walls and ceilings in areas deemed hazardous, focusing on collision prevention, awareness during passage, and security. We received feedback stating, "By paying attention to the safety mirrors while passing through, we will strive to prevent collisions at corners of hallways and avoid dangers." [Mirror Introduction Case] For the safety of patients undergoing directional training!

Installed in a location easily visible to patients undergoing walking training! A case where the level of safety and security of the course has increased (T Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation implemented the mirror "Lami/Lamidome" at T Hospital. In the rehabilitation floor of the hospital, the corridors serve as training courses for walking and other activities. Since there are areas where the paths of medical staff overlap, measures using mirrors were implemented to prevent collisions with patients. To ensure that patients can also benefit from the mirrors, we chose large and easily visible ones and installed them in positions that are easily seen by those walking. By not only having staff pay attention but also involving patients in this effort, the level of safety and security was further enhanced. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Lami/Lamidome ■ Effect: Increased safety and security of the course *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
