[Mirror Implementation Case] Safety checks can now be performed with mirrors.
FF Mirror Corridor - Rami
Ensuring safety with mirrors! Introducing case studies of 'FF Mirror Corridor' and 'Rami' (Tokyo Medical University Hospital)
We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at Tokyo Medical University Hospital. At this hospital, they were creating data for about 400 patients at peak times, and with stretchers and nurses all moving quickly, there were concerns about safety. To address this, we installed the "FF Mirror Corridor" at the corners where stretchers turn and "Rami" directly in front of the doors of each room in the radiology department. As a result, we received feedback saying, "We can confirm safety with the mirrors, and now we feel very secure." Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, as well as to show "consideration" for others. For example, one can check with the mirror to see if anyone is coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to check if someone is trying to get on an elevator and wait for them... Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful all over the world, from convenience stores to airplanes.
