The magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets necessary for motor design have traditionally been measured using the Epstein method or single sheet magnetic testing. However, it has become necessary to measure magnetic properties under more conditions, especially since motors are used under rotating magnetic flux, making two-dimensional magnetic property measurement important.
