[Case Study] Kunimoto Industrial Co., Ltd. Hamakita Factory
Introduction of a case study where approximately 20% of the factory's electricity consumption was covered by solar power generation.
We spoke with Kunimoto Industrial Co., Ltd. about the introduction of solar power generation and battery storage systems at their Hamakita plant, focusing on the objectives and effects. The systems were implemented with the goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions during normal times, improving business continuity during power outages, and striving to support the local community during emergencies and disasters. Power generation began in December 2021, and within six months, they generated 280,852 kWh.
